I was born in Wilkes Barre, then we move to Harrisburg. Over the years I have lived in Punxsutawney, Plymouth Meeting (Philly burbs Montgomery County), and Altoona.

I have lived in New Englad due to my job for the last 10 years. 1998-2005 we lived in Maine, and since July of 2005 we have lived in Connecticut.

The camp was Camp Ladore. It is in Waymart which is about 6 miles east of Carbondale. I worked there in the early 1990's.

Where in Maine did you live?

The final picture is for Paige. Its of the infinity corridors at Boardwalk.:rotfl:

Just need a floating candlabra and we would be in the haunted mansion :lmao:

oh and does anyone know if the cooler HAS to be softsided or can it be areg one? I thought some1 has said that they have brought a reg one b4 with no problem:confused3

October 14th is when it all opens up for booking.

EB wants me to get a price on the transatlantic. I'm really surprised about this because I didn't think he'd want to be gone from work for that long. For me it doesn't matter. The kids will be young enough that I won't mind taking them out of preschool and kindergarden. It does, mean though that if we did that there would be no Disney whatsoever in 2009. We'd never be able to afford it otherwise.

We're waiting for the price as well, Mel. Gives us time to save, doesn't it?

Though I better jump on in and say hi to everybody. Nancy and I had a long weekend we left Friday about 10:30 in the morning and headed for up state Mass where we attended a wedding of the son of a couple we spend our two weeks in York Beach.
It was a very nice wedding it took place on MT Wachusett at the ski resort.
We ate to much but it was very nice.
Today im doing the Honey do List while Nancy is subbing.
Everybody have a great day

Hi Dan - did you get my PM?

It sure would have been nice to be on the 4/10/10 Eastbound Transatlantic sailing since that cruise leaves 10 days before my 55th birthday, but I know there is no way would could afford the airfare back to the US from Spain.

Oh well, maybe I'll look into one of the 5 day double dip Wonder cruises for 2010, or save my $$$$ to sail on one of the new ships in 2011. Lina will be 21 in 2011 and she has already asked if we would take her on a cruise for her 21st birthday.

Just checked the prices for the 5 day Wonder sailings in the summer of 2010, we won't be doing any of them either........ :sad2:

I am guessing they are very high due to it being the summer season. I love cruising in the fall. You get good prices and the weather is great.

That's what I figured since it is peak season with kids being out of school.

After the BOBer Cruise, I may consider buying a small DVC plan. I saw some reasonable ones on some Timeshare resale website. I guess I just need to research it more. :confused3 So as a result, I may save a few years for that. :thumbsup2

Elaine and the kids want to go to WDW for at least a week sometime during 2010. Perhaps I will look to stay at one of the DVC properties to get a taste...

Are they up now?

I was looking at 6/8/10 that includes Key West. They didn't have them up earlier.

Are they right on DCL's site?

Just checked, it looks like the fare, if I can get it at the low end, will be around $2,687 for a Cat 10 for the 3 of us. We'd only go that Category if we can score an SPH.

If our rebooking discount applies to the whole amount, that would bring it down to $2,418, but I bet it isn't that much. Then add on the fuel surcharge and Government Taxes and Fees (which aren't included in the listed prices) and 5 nights is going to cost more than the BOB.

Guess I'll start looking at NCL to the Southern Caribbean ($3,200 for 9 nights in a mini-suite) or a week in Mexico at the end of October.

The other thought is 7 nights (or at least 5) in WDW.

Looks like 2010 might be an off year for us with DCL. Maybe I'll keep my "phantom" ressie and use it for 2011 on the new ship. I'm only at 1/2 the deposit, so not a lot to lock up.
