As of right now, a DCL cruise in 2010, doesn't look good for us either. Maybe by the BOB cruise we will know more about the new ship that will be sailing in 2011. Only another year, or so, to wait for that announcement......

Yeah....it's the airfare. I sit and think how much it would cost and for the price of the entire thing we could almost buy into the Contemporary Villas. Puts it in perspective, doesn't it?

I like your comparison of the Europe cruises to buying into DVC. May have to use that one with Suz to finally convince her to buy one.

And here is their favorite gift of all. A very special thanks to Cass who gave me the idea of each guest bringing a scrapbook page for the couple. I decided to add a little twist and asked them to give us a favorite recipe on their pages. Some people went all out. Kristin and Jesse absolutely loved this gift!! The tears were flowing of both happiness and sadness as there was a recipe and a poem from Chuck's mom who passed away in 1995. Whenever she gave out a recipe of her's she always wrote a little poem at the end of it. Always a twist on "Roses are red.....".

Thanks again Cass!!! Your idea was the hit of the party!!!

This is a question that is off topic from DCL but.....has anyone driven from the DC area to HHI via I 95? Just curious about a future road trip.

Yep, I don't think we will be cruising DCL in 2010. We have been saying that the day was coming when we would cruise another company. At those prices, I guess it is coming sooner than I thought. I remember people saying the same thing last year. This year....I'm saying it. Makes me sad.

I drove from Maine to WDW by way of I-95 through the DC area. Its been a few years, but remember things well. What would you like to know?
