Hope you are feeling better!! Our two are Molly (8) and Greg (10). Molly and Ainsley have posted to each other on the kid board - very cute. You've got a week - feel better!! This is our first cruise, and we are all psyched.

Aww that is cute. I am trying really hard to get better. Feel terrible right now. I have no energy and want to get upstairs to finish packing. Trying to hold back and rest up.

1 more week at 3pm - We will be meeting our DIS friends in the Promenade Lounge

1 more week at 4pm - lifeboat drill - maybe we'll get lucky and meet in the WDW theater or a restaurant

1 more week at 4:30pm - we'll watching the sailaway party from deck 10

1 more week at 5pm - with a BBC in hand (or other beverage), we'll be on deck 4 saying goodbye to the US of A and watching the pilot boat guy jump from the Magic to the pilot boat. Maybe see a fish or two playing along our way out to sea

AAAAHHHHH, love these busy Saturday afternoons!!!!

This next week is going to be the longest week of the year and the week we are on the Magic will be over in a blink of an eye

I found TVU app for my iPad to watch the Giants game while on board! Just tried it out -a little delay compared to the tv but not too bad

Watched the Magic leave Port Canaveral today. Nice to know that next week, I'll be on board.

Wrote up a to do list - man alot to do before we head off. First time leaving the kids behind for an extended period of time at our house - so have to do major prep for them as well.

This time next week - DH and I will be getting ready to head down to Rock'n Bar D. Anyone joining us?

As soon as I hear the first note, I will start tearing up just like 2 years ago when I went on my first DCL cruise......It was the best vacation of my life and I have a feeling with all the wonderful people on this board, this will be even better than the last cruise on the "Magic".

Your nephew and I are perfect partners on the cruise...he's got the broken arm and I've got the broken foot! Good times on DCL

Life gave us some lemons so we gotta make the best Konk Coolers on the cruise...virgin Konk Cooler for him of course

I was thinking of you when I posted that. Are you out of the major pain range? I almost had to cancel the cruise for my DN and BIL -- he's got to have surgery, but he's been cleared for the cruise. It's one of those cases where the surgeon says, "Never seen THIS kind of a break before. Now we have to figure out how to fix it."

But I have told his whole family we'll have fun and it will be a fantastic time. Just to show you how tight my extended family is, one of my other nephews who is his age said, "I wish I had a broken elbow, too, so he wouldn't be alone with is." I wish no one had broken bones, but it could be soooooooooooooooooo much worse!

We're almost there folks. DD started packing last night. DW and I have begun to gather things, we've made our list of things to bring. Two more 12 hour shifts for me and I trade in my patrol car for the Disney Magic!

I'm with you. Does anyone know where I put the TSA locks I bought a few weeks ago for the trip? How about the defogger spray for the swim goggles? I think they are together.

These are going to be 3 very anxious days but 2nts of sleep and a day till on my way!! So excited to know that that next Sunday I'll be waking up to the smooth waves of the ocean against the magic -well we all will be!! IF we go to bed sat night lol!!!

Only a few hours left with the boy -going to watch his roommate in the universitys regatta this am then head home where I'm treated to a bd celebration along with game 2! Won't get to see the boy till thanksgiving
But I don't want to think about that as it means this wonderful trip will be over and we haven't even begun yet
