We're almost there folks. DD started packing last night. DW and I have begun to gather things, we've made our list of things to bring. Two more 12 hour shifts for me and I trade in my patrol car for the Disney Magic!

Didn't realize you had a patrol car; you will have to meet up with Rus (orlanr) and our friend brad and the 3 of you can swap stories

I haven't joined this group, but we will be on the Magic on Saturday....if we can get everything packed!!! I swore this time we would not overpack, and I don't think we have. However snorkle gear, life jackets for the children, halloween costumes for MNSSHP take up so much extra room!!! I told my husband and I was just packing 3 pairs of shoes. Then I forgot about flip-flops and water shoes, and the list goes on and on

Just said goodbye to my dogs at the pet resort. Lucky is 12 and an Akita/German Shepherd and Goldie is 3 1/2 years and is a Beagle/Collie. I am going to miss my babies but am so looking forward to this trip. My husband Alan incorporated their pictures into our door magnets so I won't miss them as much.

I think they will be with the "wedge its" that we used to hold the connecting doors open on our last cruise. I can't find them ANYWHERE, and I know I put them in a safe place so I wouldn't lose them.

Oh well, we'll still be having a fabulous time!

We did the tram up to Paradise Point when we came back from Coki Beach.

This was my desktop photo for quite awhile when we returned from our last cruise. I had to have this photo - it was a must have souvenior. I had seen previous DISers photos and I wanted one of my own. Apparently the white yacht at the dock to the right of the Magic belongs to Tiger Woods.

I finished my last day at my regular job and have one more side job left...AND I AM ON VACATION!!!!

QUESTION...did we decide on how we will recognize each other at port? Not sure I remember what we decided on...was it green mardi gras beads?

How much do you tip for room service?

can you order room service in the moring and have it waiting for you when you reboard in the afternoon? if so, what is protocol for tipping for something like that?

we are first time cruisers and CAN NOT WAIT!

I know how it is. I take my dog Patches a whippet mix to A-1 Bed and Biscuit Boarding Kennel friday afternoon. Her favorite time of the day is bed-time. i more or less share a bed with her then she shares with me.

Goldie takes over our bed every Friday and Sunday night. The rest of the week she is cuddled up in bed with my son. Goldie LOVES to sleep as well
Lucky likes to sleep in the media area on the cool tile in the summer. Alan bought him a small fan that points right on him so he has a gentle breeze at night. I guess you can tell who rules our household THE DOGS!!

So when are you leaving for your vaca? We leave on Wed night. My 2 dogs will be going to their vacation resort Wed morning. They haven't been to this one before so it will be like they are traveling abroad or something.

I think I overheard Lucky telling Goldie they were calling the Limo service and plan on going to Disneyland where they will stay at the Disneyland Hotel (Concierge Level) and charging it to my DH's account......I wouldn't put it past them Maybe they plan on meeting your two dogs there!

I had heard that Brutus and Gus had been talking to their pals in California. What I had heard was that Brutus and Gus had an all expense paid trip to Disneyland. Their pals Lucky and Godie said that they had a way to get the whole trip paid for... Your poor DH he must be footing the trip for all 4.
