10/2-8/11 Jamborini Meet was great! Now planning for Oct 2012!

There is a lot of frustration over the lack of info Disney has provided regarding the deminars -- booking for TIW, AP & DVC discounts starts tomorrow yet there is no list available. We know the times, but it would be nice to know which chef, etc. is featured.

Brandi was able to get a little bit of information from a CM about the Mixology Seminars. Those are held daily at 6pm. Here's the information she was given:

October 2nd is a pear/Mango Mijoto
October 6th is Cucumber Daiquiri and Blood Orange Margarita

The cost is $10 (with TIW, AP or DVC early-booking discount) and booking opens tomorrow (Aug 12th) at 9:00am EDT: 407-WDW-FEST.

I think these 2 sound interesting. If any others in our group decide to book either of these, it could be another Meet!

So by 9:15 both of these classes were sold out... I was not able to buy any tickets.

That's stinks. I got lucky this morning - got right through and although it took 20 minutes to book 2 seminars, I did get them. I'm doing the 10/6 Mixology and the 10/8 Culinary with Buddy Valastro @ 3pm. (I didn't even try for the 10/2 Mixology - figured one is enough!)

I don't understand why they didn't do the discounted seminars online -- that worked great the last 2 years. Even the CM was perplexed at how slow her system was.

There will still be tickets for the seminars, just not discounted I guess.

I vote for that!! Or at F&W stand in France where they have the Parisian Cosmo - BEST drink I've ever had!

I'll be by myself for these meets - going down there with friends and their two little girls. So as long as someone can put a post-it on my head and point the cab to Jambo it'll be all good!

I wish I could do more of the "adult" meets - but we are going with friends too AND of course we'll have DS with us. Maybe in a few years I can do them, but, you guys will need a wheel barrel or something, stroller, wheel chair.............. to haul my butt around, I'm NOT a drinker - or well rather a big drinker - one margarita and I'm good - I guess I'm a cheap date!!!! LOL

Don't worry Wendy, Brandi can add a post-it to your head as well as mine! One or two Grey Goose Slushies or the Cosmo Slushies are enough for me...those always seem so strong.

I ordered mine last week - I went with the guys XL, I figure if I'm swimming in it, I can shrink it, but I'm guessing it'll just be comfy.

As for the shirts - I must be the only "fatty" in the group, I usually like to wear an XL - I could probably get away with the XL from the site, but, if it runs small I won't like it.............. I guess I better just make my shirts.
