Hello Everyone

We were originaly booked to cruise in November this year and had to move the cruise to a date in October due to some changes at work.

My name is Crystal and this will be my 5th cruise, 2nd on the Fantasy, my DH Bob, this will be his 4th cruise(2nd on the Fantasy), my DS Dennis(16) his 3rd cruise(1st on Fantasy), DS Bryce(15) his 3rd cruise(1st on Fantasy), and my DD Kaprisha (4) her 2nd cruise(1st on the Fantasy).

I have not had a chance to read up on everything but will do that this weekend. We would like to join the Fishextenders if we can

Looking forward to our 1st entire family cruise together.

Anything we should know about this cruise before I get started???

We are finally booked! We were supposed to be on the October 20th Fantasy last year. Had to cancel at the last minute due to medical issues, and now we are finally ready to start our countdown again. Can't wait!

I guess I should introduce our group, lol. I am Melissa 37 y/o. With me will be my DD Caitlyn who will be almost 4 at the time of the sailing (trying desparately to get her potty trained already), DM-64, and DF-65. We are all very excited!

Please do NOT put any info on the FE keepandshare list at the moment please - someone has been into it and has deleted ALL of our details. I am removing all details about the page and log in - however, the information has gone anyway.

The document is linked to an old email address and I have had several attempts to try and access and hijack the email address (which is a first for me, I'll be honest). I have contacted the K&S company and they told me that the last person to access it deleted it and this corrupted the document so, it looks like someone has done it, however, as it was open there is no record of who it was. You may well be putting your info on a cached document so do not add anything for now.

I am new to this and wanted to help by just setting a document up that everyone can access themselves but if stuff like this is going on, as a first timer, it is way out of my depth and I think there might be trouble to have an open list. I know that people were up in arms over a 'controlled list' but this highlights the issues behind a list that everyone can access I suppose.

I have to be open and admit that if someone is malicious enough to be doing this I am worried about leaving gifts for people outside their cabins. Do they often get stolen? :/

sometimes malicious damage is done by folks who just like to hack and mess and has nothing to do with the group.

I have only heard of FE gifts being stolen rarely, so I wouldn't worry about that part.

It is a shame that this happened, when I have organized the FE in the past - I kept the editing to myself for control. On the first Hawaii list (not mine) it kept getting sorted incorrectly and caused everyones cabin numbers to not match their name! Forced a new list twice...most frustrating for the list manager.

Fish Extender Info!!!!!

I've been nominated to compile the Final FE list. I know there have been lots of issues with it - let's just leave those in the past and go on from here so we can all get a list and let the creativity start flowing!!!

For everyone who is participating in the FE Exchange - Please message me with your family/group info to confirm that you are participating and so I can be sure I have all the correct info!

Please include gender & age for children and specify couples.

Also include email address and Facebook name(s) if applicable and let me know if you have any limit on number of cabins/families you can handle.

Hi everyone!

We just got back from the January 5th western cruise and I have to say, I was disapppointed in a few ways. Our DIS group wasn't very active and we are REALLY hoping this group will be more outgoing and involved! DD19 and DS16 were really hoping to meet others their age, but no one even showed up to the scheduled meet and greet, no activities were planned at all, and no one went through with ordering the t shirts as was discussed. DD19 tried so hard to get people involved, with no luck. We finally gave up towards cruising time and made our own t shirts....which DD19 did herself and they turned out great haha We have higher hopes for this cruise and have already strated the planning process

Also, my camera was stolen on Day 4 of the cruise. We had stayed for five days at WDW prior to the cruise so I virtually lost all my pictures of my vacation. I cried for a day and it put a damper on the remainder of the cruise. But all in all, it was a fantastic trip and the Fantasy is beyond beautiful. They still had the Christmas decorations up and its an amazing ship! DH said there were a few things that bothered him, but all in all we were pleased! I wonder if the ship will be decorated for Halloween in any way?

We plan to go to WDW after the cruise and attend MNSSHP. We have been to WDW and DCL for several Christmases, but never Halloween and we hear its just as great, if not better than Christmas?!?!?!

OMG, that makes me so sad for you guys!!!! I would be heartbroken too. How did it get stolen?? I always think the best of Disney people - I leave so much stuff in my strollers at the parks, never even worry about it. That's terrible.

Little word of advice for the future on cameras. What I typically do, is to download my camera every night onto a laptop, so if my camera fails, gets lost etc, I still have most of my pics. A little less expensive option is to use multiple memory cards, but I have seen in the past where the cards themselves got lost.
