Nevermind. I didn't see it that it was already in your signature before I posted. We're actually getting married on a Wednesday (Oct. 16), which sounds a little odd, but it'll be our 9 year anniversary. :]

Aw. That sounds incredibly sweet! When I've told some people what we were thinking of doing for our honeymoon (originally it was just going to be Disney World), I've gotten some strange looks. I'll just have to take tons of pictures to show them what they're missing. :] When is your actual wedding?

Weeellll - that is a long story! We are actually getting "married" sometime in Sept in NY state, we will have a domestic partners declaration sometime in June - Oct 12 is our hand fasting ceremony (the one that counts for us!) Because of the bizarre laws and fears - our marriage in NY will be recognized in most of the world, but not in the USA. That is why we are having that one done. In NJ we can only be declared domestic partners (like a cival union - without all the legal support and protections). The handfasting is when we will pledge our hearts to each other for life.

Just checking in. Got everyone booked yesterday. We will have 4 parties with us.
So excited about this cruise haven't been on a cruise since 2004. Still have some really good friends that we met through these boards that I keep in touch with. Our cruise thread that we started in 2002 is still going strong!!

We just got back from 2 weeks in Disneyworld. Love Disney at Christmas

Cold here in Colorado today. School is canceled. Happy kids. My daughter and 2 grandkids live with us. My7 yr old grandson is beside me talking talking talking about Christmas, Legos and Disney. Makes it hard to consentrate on the computer. Where are his priorities?

I've always thought handfasting was so romantic. I live in the rural South so I know what you mean by "bizarre laws and fears." I've never quite understood it.

This 1 will make 10 for me on DCL (4 or 5 on Carnival) 6 for my son and 5 for my wife and daughter, 3 each for my inlaws and 1 for my niece and nephew.
