10/15/2011 - Taking the West by Magic!

It did look great. We ordered ours from Gradysmommy on EBay, she did a great job, I'll just cover up Scott and Ryan's names since they aren't going to be on the cruise.

I can't be the only person who checks our thread a couple of times a day for new posts, can I? Am I that bad?:surfweb:

In any case, we're under 5 months to go now! The latest dilema? Do I see Pirates 4 now, or wait until we're on the Magic and watch it in the theater?!:happytv:

Oh, and now I've got another interview on Wednesday morning, one of these two has to be a great fit!

Oh, and one more piece of great news, the neighbors we can't stand (nasty lady) just put their house on the market today! All in all, a pretty good week!:rotfl2:

We are just back from watching pirates of the carabbean and it was great I would go and watch it now then you can always watch it again on the ship.

It's only 21 weeks to go:cool1::banana::cheer2:

Great news about ur neighbour hopefully their house won't take long to sell.

We've got a quiet house as my eldest dd is away to France on a school activities week and my other dd is away to London on her activities week so it's just me, dh & cerys who is missing her sisters:goodvibes
Hope you are all having a great weekend

I just watched the Tourist last night, I really enjoyed it so it's recommended! We're going to try and get our garden planted today, since it looks like we're in for nicer weather. A quiet house would be awesome! But I'll get that in a couple of weeks when Scott and Ryan go on their father/son trip and Jillian will go to Missouri with my family (I'll be home working). It'll be a week of JUST MOM!!!!!

Jillian says she's jealous for your girls getting an activities week. They don't get to do those here in Colorado!

Has anyone decided what excursions they are going to do yet? I will have to decide soon!

We're going to find a scuba dive shop in Key West, and in Grand Cayman and go diving. Probably stay on the ship or venture just to the little shopping area on Cozumel.

I'd recommend Sting Ray City for Cayman, and just do the trolley on your own in Key West, you can hop on/off when you want if you book it on your own, but I hear you can't if you're on the Disney excursion. If you don't want sting rays, I've had some friends do the turtle farm and Hell and they said that was pretty cool. In Cozumel, if you're venturing out, I'd recommend Chakanaab for a beach day if that's what you're looking for. I'm pretty sure Disney has an excursion for this, but you can also do it on your own, the cabs to get there aren't expensive, but I think they are capacity controlled, so there's that to factor in too.

I'm going to book the Disney excursions heard a few stories of people missing the ship don't want to chance it also for the boat tendering you get off the ship first I think. I think key west we will just have a look round, grand cayman a beach day then cuzumel was thinking of the catamaran sail snorkel and beach party. I will have to have a family vote!

The only one I'd say to NOT do the excursion, would be Key West, just because of the hop-on/hop-off ability you get with that. I don't know if they have an excursion to the turtle farm or not, but have had folks recommend it so figured I'd pass it on!

We did Disney excursions on our Med cruise, and it's a great thing we did because one of our excursion ended up being late back to the boat, we would have missed it if we hadn't been with Disney so I totally understand!

:rolleyes1 I thought I was the only one that suffered from OCD DCL :lmao: :lmao:

Oh I would go see it here and on the cruise. I have heard both good and bad, so I guess if you like Joooohnny :lovestruc as Capt Jack then its well worth it. We're going Saturday afternoon.

SOOOOOOOOO tell us how the interviewssssss went? :cheer2:

The first one went really well, you know it's a good interview when the guy at the end tells you that you're his only candidate that's qualified :cool1:.

The second one was meh :confused3, just not really my thing at all, so I probably won't be pursuing it any further, of course, they also told me that I was the only candidate with my qualifications they could find.

I just have to wait for the first company to actually try and find someone sort of qualified so that they can interview them, and decide I'm the coolest one! :cool1:

As for Pirates, I'll probably see it when I'm playing bachelorette here for a while after June 9th :lmao:

:woohoo: that sounds like very good news!!! keeping fingers crossed.

Thanks! Now it's the not so fun waiting game to see when I hear from them.

We finally got some warmer weather here in Colorado! At least we didn't make plans this weekend to go camping in the mountains, all of the campgrounds are closed because they're still covered in snow!

Down to 4 1/2 months now! Still waiting to hear on the job front, but, I've got the items for the FE planned!

I'm going to start making one of the items this weekend, which will require some sewing, but that's all I'm going to tell you. :rolleyes1

 Wooo Hoooo!!! Yay me too, but I'll need some sizes  lol  of the children. OOOOOoooo I got the Yudu machine :woohoo: I had gotten a raincheck over the week of mothers day and when they finally came in Michaels gave it to me at the lower price :cool1: :yay: I was thinking of making shirts for the children in our FE so I'll give it a whirl and if it comes out okay then I'll start asking for some sizes.

Okay so we went to the movies :3dglasses but instead of seeing POTC we saw the Panda - very cute! We had gone to the Magic Kingdom ::MickeyMo but it was so hot :sunny: that we left after a few hours and headed over to the AMC theaters at DTD. I thought we could try the Fork and Screen, thats when we found out POTC was sold out :sad2: I am glad we did try the Fork and Screen its a great concept but the service needs to be a little bit better. Of course we'll give it another try since this is a new concept to the folks over at AMC in hopes that they have worked out the kinks.

Too funny, Jillian and I went to Kung Fu Panda this morning too! Scott and Ryan are off on their wonderful father/son vacation so it's just us girls this weekend.

Still no word on the job front, but, I did get some news on Thursday that I'll get a call for another interview with a company that a friend works for, so hopefully that'll pan out!

I finally switched my cruise today. It was hard giving up my Dream reservation but now we get 7 days instead of 4. :cool1: Now I need to plan my excursions. I was checking out cruise critic and found this website. http://theamazingcozumelrace.com/Welcome.html My sons would love this. Does anyone want to join us?

Any news on the FE group? There doesn't seem to be too much traffic on this thread.

 Sorry you had to give up your Dream - :sad1: but hey you get some MAGIC :wizard: like you said 7 days of it! I haven't yet thought about the excursions I might just check out the website you posted.

From what I have counted so far for the FE group is:
7 cabins
14 adults (6 pirate: and 8 princess:)
7 children (3 pirate: ((16, 12 and 8)) and 4 princess: ((10,9, 8 and 18mths))

Yes your right, maybe it's just that everyone has been busy with school and we should pick up here soon :confused3
