Congrats on snatching #3900, Marianne.
I guess I will treat myself with snatching #4000 - I guess I have good chances as I'm sure that everybody is aware that taking it will result in deletion from The List :maleficen

Like Wendy and Doreen Anja and I plan on being at WDW before the cruise as well. So who's up for a Pre-Cruise Meet at The World?
Anja has to check with her new ward if four weeks of vacation are OK. We won't know for sure before end of December.
We're planning to spend 10 to 12 days in PCB and 10 to 12 days at a Value Resort to park-hop between WDW, USF, IoA, and Seaworld.

We're definitely up for a pre-cruise meet at the world - I'd imagine we'll be getting annual passes again at some point next year. We love being able to come and go as we want.
Finally braved going into school today - have another 2 weeks off but knew there would be a mountain of emails. Tuesday is when the exam results come in so I will be in first thing to see how my pupils do - I won't sleep the night before, I am sure I worry more about it than they do. Last year when they came out I was in the middle of the Caribbean on the Magic - doesn't seem a year ago!

Good morning, Eric!! Afternoon for you! You know that I'll be at WDW before the cruise, but that's because it's only 1.5 hr drive for us.

We go on our DVC member cruise on the Wonder in just a month, then I will be officially booking this cruise. :cheer2: :cheer2: Can't wait to see all the Cruisetoberfest II people again, and meet all the new ones too!!!

Wendy,
you may want to inquire at your British -or Scotch ;) - travel agency, if they sell 'The Florida Fun in the Sun-Pass'. It is available in Germany, the Netherlands and according to my knowledge also in the UK.
This pass gives you 30 days of FULL admission to everything at WDW, including the waterparks, Wide World of Sports and Disney Quest. It also comes with a voucher for a Character Breakfast. Additionally it grants access to the Dali Museum in St Pete, the Kennedy Space Center, the Miami SeaAquarium and the Ford/Edison Winterhomes near Sarasota.
As far as I know the APs exclude some days, which in not the case with abovementioned pass.

Amy,
sounds great. As soon as our travel plans are fixed, which will probably January '06, we should arrange a meeting at WDW.

Sounds like a plan, Eric!! We look forward to seeing you and Anja again!!!

Eric
I've heard of those passes and they seem a very good deal. I always try and make our annual passes do at least two trips - the last ones did 3 trips! These ones don't exclude any days (I think some of the seasonal Florida resident ones are the only ones that do) and you can pay extra for them to include the water parks and DQ. I like the discounts that come with the annual passes - we have always been lucky enough to get room discounts with them as well as the food and merchandise ones.
Amy - have a "wonderful" time!
Wendy

Hey guys - there's a thread out on the cruise meets board that someone is intimidated by our thread and doesn't want to have to read all of the pages. I just posted a welcome and come on over to our thread, but I thought that if some others posted on her thread, that maybe she'll be pursuaded to come on over.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't posted here in a while, but I've been pretty busy getting ready for our Repo Cruise in a couple of weeks. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that we changed our reservation from this cruise to the Sept. 17, 2006 11 day cruise. I got a great deal and couldn't pass it up. Hopefully, there will be a Cruisetoberfest V, and we can all sail together again.

I would love to still get the emails about this cruise, if it's ok with you guys.

Take Care and hope to see everyone soon.

Reneé

Renee, are you sure you won't change your mind? You'll be missed!!

Hey ya'll! If you haven't found the thread that Amy was talking about, I think we have convinced dis ms. to come over and join our thread! Now straighten those ties, smooth out those skirts and lets give a big WELCOME to dis ms. and her family! :grouphug:
(Let's not talk of the naked kareoke or walking the plank just yet...let her warm up to us first! :rotfl: )

So this is the Cruisetoberfest thread, huh? That wasn't so scary after all!

Hi, everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a SAHM with a DS5 and a DD3. We (along with DH) will be joining you for the 10/14/2006. I have had this booked since we had to cancel our Sept. 2004 cruise because of Hurricane Jeanne. DH is getting his MBA next year and this cruise will be his graduation celebration. We're also doing a week at WDW before the cruise. I am way too excited! I don't have a ticker because I can't bear to see how far away the trip is.

Anyway, I would love to meet some DISers that have kids the same ages that my kids will be (4 & 6) when we sail. And I am very curious about this whole Cruisetoberfest thing. I don't know what it is, but I want in!!!

Soooo...naked karoake? Is that optional or required? I mean do we really have to sing? :teeth:

Yeah!!! I'm so glad that you joined our thread!!!

Look for posts by Viking (Eric). He's our cruise list owner. If you send him your information, he will send you the cruise list along with the history of Cruisetoberfest.

Like I said in your other post, my oldest DD will be 5 on this cruise, so she's right between yours. My youngest will be 2 1/2.

I'm sorry, it's almost quitting time on a Friday afternoon. So if this sounds like a stupid question, it probably is...

What is an SAHM?

Welcome to the cruise & the thread. Contact the e-mail link in one of Viking's posts with your contact information. He'll include you on "The List" and also send you a history of Cruisetoberfest.

Reneé, we're so sorry you're leaving us. But you'll have a head start & let us know how that goes. Have a great time!

As for naked Karaoke--yes, you have to sing. And clothing is NOT OPTIONAL!

Hey, did anyone else see the sweepstakes on disneycruise.com? I got a postcard in today's mail, and logged on. It was kind of fun, once I figured out what they wanted me to do. Grand prize is a free 7-day cruise for 4. There are 100 first prizes worth $600 each. I'm up for anything free! :cool1: :cool1:

Happy weekend, everyone.

Love, Marianne

I'm sorry to say that like Renee, Bill and I are jumping ship, so to speak, and going on the 11 day Wonder cruise in September. We will just miss Haley too much! Hope there is a Cruisetoberfest V.

I can answer this one, because I came one when I got laid off last December. It's a stay-at-home mom. And, I'm loving it!! (most of the time)

Marianne
I think SAHM means stay at home mother. I envy those changing to the Wonder but we will still be on this cruise - cannot pass up naked karaoke!

Hey Folks,

what's going on here?
-One Newbie (Welcome aboard Dis Ms, just sent you a mail :wave2: )
-Three veterans deserting the group :sad2:

I'll have to warn you Renee, Lennny, Haley, Tracy, Bill, Jenn, and Peter:
It wouldn't be the first time that Cruisetoberfesters cruising without the Germs were chased across the seas by a hurricane :teeth:
We're surely going to miss you, but wish you all the best for your cruise.

Jenn & Peter,
we're going to talk you into re-switching your ressie while in Boston ;)
BTW: 30 minutes ago I installed the maps for USA/North East onto my PDA. Now we're ready to navigate Massachusetts and all adjoining states with out GPS.

Ave & Mary,
I also have the South ready to be installed for next year, I just have to get another memorycard.
