Love the Easter Bunny and Mickey Eric. Yes both Kathy and I have obstructive sleep apnea that is treated with cpap machines. Looks like I am flying a fighter aircraft when I put my mask on and the same for Kathy.

Cathy works for the federal government and it is a way for uncle sam and a lot of business to monitor their employee's computer and internet use. It is legal as you are using the employer's computer and bandwidth for non business uses.

Cable dude showed up and said that I have to schedule another line to be run for the high speed cable internet. :badpc: Plus he did not know how to hook up a mac:sad: I told him I would do it since he didn't know how. Mike

Renee' -- Survivor was on Wednesday this past week because of the basketball. It will be on Wednesday next week also which present a problem for me because it will be on at the same time as Lost which probably ties with Survivor as my favorite tv program. Lost was a rerun last week which was great. Now I am hoping that it will be another rerun next week.

Thanks for telling me this since I obviously wasn't enough paying attention to know that it was on Wednesday instead of Thursday. :rolleyes2 I know maybe Haley was bothering me at that time so that is why I missed it. Yea, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :teeth: Now I just have to remember to watch it THIS Wednesday or I'll have to hear about it from you guys again.

Well we had a great day here in the upper 50's so we spent the entire day outside. Lenny was putting up a swingset we bought for Haley at Costco last night (one of those wooden ones that has everything imaginable on it for her to play with) and I put her Barbie House together (the plastic one that she can get inside and play). The house is so cool - it has a skylight, an electronic phone and a working doorbell. The first thing she said was "My house, leave please." At least she was polite about it.

Needless to say she spent the entire day in that house and didn't want to come in.

Reneé

Hey Renee - I can't believe how big Haley is getting. And, I know what you mean about being polite. Emily is so polite, even when she's being defiant. She used to say to us, "No, no thank you, that's not what I want" whenever we asked her to do something that she didn't want to do. And now that she's potty trained, she'll want me to come into the bathroom with her, but as soon as I get in there, she says "Excuse me, can you please leave now?".

Anyway, I just had to share that Madison took her first steps today. She's 10 1/2 months old and she started walking today. Emily didn't walk until 13 months, so this is definitely early for us. Luckily, we are still babyproofed from Emily.

I just love hearing stuff about the kids!
Congrats to Haley on her new home and jungle gym! What fun! We built a fort last year for our boys! We had the car club over to help build it! Payment was beer and brauts! It was a heck of alot cheaper then getting the company to build it!
Congrats to Madison on her first steps! You know she is walking sooner because she wants to keep up with Emily! Go speedracer GO!
We made it through the Easter Egg Hunt with no rain. It just started tonight after dinner, and that's just fine with me! I think the temps have slowly dropped through out the day too. We were comfortable with no coats on this morning, but tonight it is much cooler!
Have a happy Sunday ya'll!

That's great that Madison is walking. How exciting!

Haley will have a great time in her house and jungle jim.

The only thing my DS is interested in these days is the car. He's been home all week from his course but haven't seen him or my mom's car too much. One day she needed the car so he arranged to get his Dad's car for the day.

Was sick last night but am feeling much better this morning.

Spring has not sprung here. Some snow has melted but there is still lots around. Temperatures are still just about 0C and don't appear to be getting any warmer soon.

Fiona

Spring is getting better and better over here:
We just returned from a run through some close-by parks. We did about 5.5 miles in leisurely 55 minutes under blue skies at about 13-15°C/55-59°F. We met dozens of runners, bikers, or people just being out for a stroll enjoying the sun - and we aw a bunny rabbit. He must have taken a break from painting all the eggs :rotfl2:

Nancy,
Thanks for the info about the dates. Once the move is over (truck comes this Thursday, but we still have a week after that for final clean-out until we actually close), I'll begin to think about planning the trip. After Wednesday, I'm not sure when I'll be connected again. Hopefully, I'll be back online Friday as that is when the guy from Road Runner comes. YES, i'm finally getting rid of my dial-up!!!!!!

Jeanne,
we hope your move goes smoothly. C U in a week on the Boards.

We're watching 'Natural Born Killers' right now. We bought the R-rated DVD yesterday - After 20 minutes I must say this is one weird movie!!

Folks,
I finally was succesful: I won the matching camera on ebay for the underwater-housing I won there before xmas. Now I can shoot digital pictures at a maximum depth of about 30m/100feet. Just in time before our Thailand-trip, where we will do some diving.
And it may also come in handy at Castaway Cay :teeth: :rotfl2:

Hi guys, Kim here...

Nothing exciting happening in New Hampshire. We lucked out and missed the snow storm today, it went south... Awwww to bad... The temperature actually broke 40 degrees today, what a heatwave.

I just finished painting and wallpapering what will be the new sewing room in a couple weeks. Have to add a layer of new paint to the doors and I am almost done. Next weekend I will install carpeting, nice dark navy blue
(of course every thread will show up) then the fun starts, I can start building the furniture (mostly kits) but I am making the sewing table from scratch... I will post some photos when I have everything done...

Time to go have a nice long hot shower and paperwork for the evening boy do I HATE paperwork sooooo much.

Bye, Kim

Viking: I am also having problems opening the list. Could you please send it to me as a PDF? Thank you! Can't wait to get a look at it!

Alikat99: My 2YO DS started walking at 10 1/2 months also. I was so excited at first but then he got it in his head that since he could now walk, that meant no more cuddling & quiet time with mom! I swear, if he is awake...he's on the move and usually at a high rate of speed! He actually "disappeared" on my husband for about 20 minutes on our Feb 05 cruise (he walked out of our stateroom while my DH was in the bathroom!). My DH found him having a nice chat with one of the room stewards on the 7th floor! Good thing I was by the Goofy pool with my DD or I would have been freaking out!

How scary that he walked out of the stateroom! When they are walking the fun does begin.

Can't wait to see the new sewing room Kim!

We got some snow flurries that nicely covered the ground again today -- although most of it is still covered. Hopefully the weather will start to warm up here but I'm betting the Rogers Centre roof will be closed for the Jays home opener esp. since the game doesn't start til 7:15pm. For some reason this year it's not an afternoon game but a night game.

Fiona

Eric, thanks for the list. Love the bunnys!

We have been busy packing. I did not start until we had a firm contract (didn't want to jink it) but DH has been working on the garage and yard for about 2 months. He is a pack rat, and has TONS of stuff. Most of it is now gone. When we had our yard sale a few months ago, I got rid of most of my junk, so the packing is going pretty quickly. The kids rooms are done, living room almost done, and my closet gets attacked tomorrow.

Peter....you should see what 400K+ buys you in Charleston! Big house(2000+ sq ft) on the water!

Glad to see Nancy and George will be joining us again.

Kim..sewing room sounds wonderful!

walczak4...scary story :scared1: When my DS started walking, he ran right out our back door, and nosedived down the 2 steps onto a concreat patio! I was sure his nose was broken! Thank goodness, I was wrong, but I learned not to leave the door open, even if it's for "just a second". They are SO FAST!

Tracey,
will send you The List tomorrow. We'll be home late from the gym tonight and have to leave shortly after it again for the cinema - I don't think that I will manage to squeeze in the time for going on-line and sending it.

Mary,
$40k in Frankfurt would give you a condo of 600, max 800 squarefeet or a tiny house in one of the suburbs. And in the heart of the city it would give you a place to park your car ;)

Tracey,
The List as a PDF is in your account. I was able to forward it from the office :wave2:

Mary - keep forgetting but congrats on the sale. Have fun packing and then even more fun unpacking!

Your story reminded me that when DS was about 18 months old he somehow opened the patio door and climbed over the fence to toddle up the street. He was going after the ice cream truck but he scared me to death because we have a pool in the backyard. You're right you can't turn your back for a second. After that we keep the patio door locked from the top where he couldn't reach. To this day I don't know how he climbed the fence in the backyard without hurting himself.

Weather today is supposed to go up to 3C so it's still not very warm here.

Fiona

Eric, that was $400,000! Not $40,000. In Charleston $40,000 might buy you a mobile home :teacher:

More packing today :sad2: DH leaves Wednesday for FL with our boat and canoes.1 week from today we will be renting a 25ft truck! Then the REAL fun begins :rotfl2:

Eric I also sent Tracey a copy of the list in pdf last night as I thought you might be busy. Hope that gramps is doing well and that everyone has a great day. :grouphug:

Good luck with the packing and the move Mary.

Fiona it is 42 here right now, 5 degrees C and going to 64 F or 18 C. The tulip poplar trees are in bloom along with the daffodils. Trees are budding out and in a couple of weeks my son might have to cut the grass. Rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow.

Have a great day and we will check back with you later. Mike
