HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM
Two-foxes--- So sorry to hear about your Christmas diaster at the house.
We came home after midnight mass to find my son's chinchilla escaped from his cage and was running around the house with the 2 beagles chasing it. It is a wonder that the tree wasn't knocked down.
Anja--- Hope that you get the new job. I have been fortunate in my job that I have had the weekends and holidays off for a number of years.
Fionna-- I forgot that Canada celebrates Boxing Day. I avoided the stores yesterday couldn't deal with crowds.
Christmas night we went to the movies to see "Meet the Fockers". We really enjoyed it. The critics have given not given it very good reviews, but it was a fun movie to watch. Nice to just sit back and relax at the movies.
What a terrible crisis for those Asian countries. Latest death toll is over 22,000. Even with a warning system (which they didn't have), I wonder how much time it would give you to get to safety.
I'm certainly glad that we weren't flying anywhere this Christmas with the way the some airlines were at a standstill. You just wonder what the US Airways staff was thinking when they staged their sick out plan. People are really angry about it and the entire baggage pile up will take weeks to resolve.
Jean--- So sorry to hear that your Mother's health is failing. Will keep you in our prayers.
One holiday down, one to go and then we can get back to normal for the long boring winter.
