We had some good news to share that I forgot to post. Usually I keep quiet about this subject but I have to let it out.
A few of you know about Debbie's battle with brain cancer seven years ago. Ever since her treatment was finished she has had stable checkups and had been doing so well that her follow up's had extended out to a six month interval. Four weeks before the cruise she had a check up and the Radiologist was concerned about a change in her MRI. They decided to schedule her back in eight weeks so we had to go down to San Francisco for a visit last week. Results...stable,
no change from the previous scan. The Neoro-oncologist and the Radiologist believe the area in question was just a normal change in the cavity. Since Debbie is so far out from diagnosis we are sort of in uncharted waters. She has outlived her origional prognosis by five years and a very small percentage of patients with her cancer type make it this far. It's a comfort to know she see's the best Doc's at one of the premier institutions in the country. We have been blessed.
Thanks for letting me share.
