Hi Viking,

Are you on the Magic that goes to CC two times on 10/14/2006? I am and I booked room 2120. Wonder if there was an error? I booked it when I was on the 10/16 cruise this year. Received the 10% off and $200 credit. We have actually stayed in 2120 our last two cruises. Great location to get to everything because it is right by the stairs.

Let me know.

This thread is moving at a fast clip the past couple of days!

curlyq--- It would be great if our boys hooked up. They're pretty close in age. Still haven't got Josh posting on the kids' board, so we'll see. Is your Cassie a Cassandra too? Must be a popular name lately as one of Josh's friends is Cassandra, but called Casey.

Eric-- Thanks for the update and love the History!

Jeanniec-- You're doing better than we are. We haven't even visited all the resorts, let alone stayed at them. Definitely fill us in after your April trip.

ciadriamom-- I can talk you through posting pics via pm or email if you want. I got help on the tech support board the first time, but I have it now.

Melody-- Love the website! I do agree with Eric on not having the list on it.

Mary Jo--- You?... an axe murderer? :rotfl:

Van & Debbie-- Congrats on the wonderful news!!

Jeanneg-- Definitely give the St. Joseph statue a try. It worked for my sister. They were having a terrible time selling their house in Scottsdale when they moved to Buffalo. Buried the statue and it sold in two days.

Reading through posts, it seems we have a lot of people near Cleveland. We're just outside of Akron.

Rainy and windy all day here today. Finally got the summer clothes put away and winter stuff out. I think I'm in denial.

You have see it from the bright side: At least he can't be re-elected ;)
Chances are good that your next president is either female or Austrian :jester:

Melody,
I would prefer to distribute The List the 'traditional way';)
IMHO we should use the web-site for the pictures and for helpful links, i.e. land excursions in Cozumel & Costa Maya, hotels at the Port (RonJon, Radisson), our thread, our mailboxes, etc.

Happy Anniversary, Jen & Peter :cheer2: :drinking1 :thewave: :cheer2:

Expected to wake-up to snow this morning....but instead....bright lovely sunshine.....Happy Day !!

Ave...sort of knew you wouldn't be able to do Cookie Day...but....we hoped...

Rosemary, sent you an invite....you should have it by now...sent you a PM...

Bette & Kim

As far as a female president...anybody but HILLARY CLINTON. Not a good representation of our state. Just using us to get further in her political career. Just imagine Bill Clinton as the 'first husband".

I would definetely rather have Arnold as president anytime although I'm a little concerned about relaxing the rule about not having to be born in America to run for president(please dont attack me for that statement).

Not attacking, but he can't be any worse than some of the American born Presidents we've had.:teeth:

Morning everyone. Hopefully (barring snow) we will be at cookie night. It's already on my calendar at work.

Right now it's sunny out but the forecast is for rain yet again. It rained yesterday, again. How depressing especially now that most of the trees don't have any leaves left.

Big charity ball tonight - Jim is so thrilled to be going since he has to wear a tie, although thanks to you all he now has a choice about what to wear. I told him he'd be fine because next year (2005) he might only have to wear a tie once since we aren't cruising. It's actually not that bad. They have a silent auction and some of the things they auction off are quite ugly. One year they had this most awful statutes that I think sold for $400/each.

Must go and get ready for work.

It's Friday. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Renee:

I certainly agree with you. I actually would have like to see Henry Kissenger as president(a very intelligent man).

Andy and I are game for cookie night...

Sounds great to me! :teeth:

My ever so minor request......

Can we please end the talk of politics? As minor as it may be, it is the LAST thing I want to read on the Disboards...I have had enough of it at work. I promise to never talk about guilty Catholics anymore!;)

Is the $150 from booking on the cruise? We don't know what we are getting yet with AAA, our TA called and said they do not know the 2006 incentives yet, but this years was only $50. How to we get $150? We just went to AAA this time as the price was the same I got from 4 other agencies (including DU) and we can talk to them in person. Plus, we will use them for our Poly or AKL (don't know which yet) trip in Sept '05. Any one else going to be there? Take care and (for those of you who have it!) enjoy your day of sun!!! Aren't Fridays great!!!!:sunny:  Denise

Fridayfun: We got $200 for booking onboard and then AAA gave an additional $150 when we transferred over to them along with some other smaller perks.

About this St Joseph thing........we're talking Jesus' daddy, right? I know there are lots of Saint Francises (or is it Saints Francis?), but I only know of one St Joseph. Can I take the one from my Christmas creche and use him? Come to think of it, we have a Playmobile version of the Christmas scene......maybe I can bury that one. Do you think it would work just as well or will God punish me for being disrespectful?

What other type of perks did you get from AAA?

Jeanne -- You are so funny! I don't think the Playmobile version of St. Joseph will work. I think it has to be a "real" statue of him, whatever that is.

Denise & Chris -- I called my local AAA today for the 3rd time trying to get the $150 onboard credit that everyone else seems to be getting from AAA. Got a new TA again (3rd one I talked to there) & she got me the $150 credit in less than 5 minutes so I am a happy camper today! The 1st AAA TA I talked to told me the same thing that you were told -- about only being able to give $50 credit because the 2006 incentives were not out yet. Told all 3 agents the same story about the people who were booking with AAA in different states & on cruise websites & who were getting $150 credit. Told them I wanted to stay local but I would go with another AAA if I couldn't get the credit locally. It finally worked with the 3rd TA -- don't know why she could give me the bigger credit immediately, but you might want to call your TA back and tell her the same story I told mine. You could say that you are thinking about transferring your reservation to another TA & see what happens??
