Happy Birthday Barbara! I know you've had a rough week. I hope you have a nice day today! If you can, (you have our email-I think) can you send us your phone # and I'll have my girls give your girls a call? They miss them too!
Take care,
Laura

Fellow cruisetoberfesters- I see many of you are transferring your ressies from DCL to DU. Are you getting better deals? I got a quote from DU and it was actually Higher than DCL's.

Good idea, Marianne!!
To prevent people from pushing numbers or so I would say you pick a date/time sometime before the cruise -say, two or three weeks prior- without publishing that exact date.
Eric--I love it!!! I actually had thought about that. If someone was close, they may send one word per post (like you do to snag the -00 posts). So I'll pick a date & time, and announce it on board.

Also, someone e-mailed me & asked if I was going to be able to keep it up for 2 years. I can, if you send me your guess, and NO CHANGING YOUR MIND. Excel is a wonderful program ::yes::

Also, I didn't mention it before (so the two that I've received have one opportunity to change your minds), the winner will be the person who guesses the closest without going over . VERY IMPORTANT

Sharon--I tried calling you, but I guess you weren't home yet. Wondered how your days at WDW went.

Well, gotta go balance the checkbook. It's harder once you get into negative numbers. :hyper:

Laura -- To answer your question, our DU quote was about $200 higher than the amount we booked with DCL and adding the onboard credit, we are coming out about $400 less with DCL than with DU. Also, got a quote from AllSeas which was about $50 less than DCL, but once again, taking the onboard credit into consideration, DCL is about $150 less than AllSeas. So we are sticking with DCL. Sure glad that they gave us the onboard booking perks even tho we booked with them 2 days after we cruised.

Ok Laura

Lets See We Take the Cruise We Booked With DCl On Board With Discount And onBoard Credit...
And Then We TRANSFER our Reservation To Dreams Unlimited To Get The Rebate They Offer To Make The Cost of The Cruise Even Less ... The only change in The price of The Cruise is When
The final Payment is due it Will Be Less The Amount of The Rebate... So Price Will go Down.... is That Understandable..

if U Just Ask For A Quote From Dreams u will Get market price
if u have A Cruised Booked With Dcl Already They will honor The Price.. u Just Have To Transfer Your Reservation to Them...
Then There may also Be Additional rebates From Them .

Here Are the Rebates Based on The Cost of The Cruise...

Cost of Disney Cruise Rebate**
$1000 - $1999 $50
$2000 - $2999 $75
$3000 - $3999 $100
$4000 - $4999 $150
$5000 + $200

We Recieve $75.00 rebate, Off the Price of The Cruise Because Our Cruise Costs $2300.00

Peter...you took the words right out of my post!LOL!
The ONLY catch is there is a time limit on the rebate offer. I think the deadline is 10/31/04. So if you want an ADDITIONAL $200.00-$50.00 off the price of your cruise WITHOUT loosing your on board credit AND your on board booking price, then contact DU and transfer your reservations soon! There is really no downside to this, just an addtional savings!:teeth:

Once again we had a super fantastic cruise with the ever growing Cruisetoberfest crew on the Magic. Thanks to everyone for the special treats that the brought to share with everyone.

After one day back a work Ellen and I both came down with flu like symptoms.... just sick of being off of the Magic I told everyone. Oh well.

Looking forward to Cruisetoberfest IV in 2006. So glad to see that Tulirose & Tulirich and Dan & Scott will be joining us. Kevin & Sue and Windmere hope you decide to as well.

Anja and Barbara, wishing you a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Dave & Ellen

Made our deposit today to DU for October 14, 2006, Cruise!!! (Had to call papa for help because I had no internet access and didn't have DU's # and today was the last day! Thanks Mike)

Anyway, for our Fourth Disney Cruise we have for the Fourth time the best room on the best deck on the best ship (all subjective, of course) - Room 2064!! :Pinkbounc I was so afraid one of you guys would steal our old room from us but you didn't, so thanks.

Eric - I'll be sending our email shortly with all our info And we would be honored to dine with you guys again. Belated birthday wishes to Anja.

Painted the den today. Am exhausted. Still have one wall to go with second coat. Thank God for Leftovers because I'm not cooking nuthin!

Looking forward to get acquainted and re-acquainted with new and old Cruisetoberfesters!

Welcome aboard Rosemary & Richard
So now our table is complete with you and:
Dave & Ellen
Mike & Kathy
Art & Cathy
Kerstin & Andre
Anja & Eric

I'm also thinking about getting in contact with DCL and talk to them about the following idea:
Our team of servers waited on three tables. Ours of 8, another table of 6 or 8, and one of 4, which brings the total to 18 - 20. What about extending our group to that number and having one team of servers wait on us. We could also mix tables from night to night without having to bother about the tipping as we all will have the same waiters.
Other groups could do that as well, which may come in especially handy for those of us travelling with little ones, who could then easily spend an evening at Palo's and leave their kids with their 'Dining Group' for that night.

I would like to suggest that the next group photo be done in front of the Mickey Statue again. Deck seven was nice, but too many of us are squinting due to the sunlight.

Hope that everyone is recovering from the cruise and we are looking forward to the next one.

We could also tell the Captain to turn the ship so that we don't have to squint, Mike :smooth:

Peter and Jen...how many times did you eat in Palo this trip?

Picture in front of the Mickey statue? In the A/C? ....OK!:teeth:

Peter is that a picture of CC from your verandah??

If we have too many to do a picture in front of the Mickey statue, maybe we could go in the Walt Disney Theater or Buena Vista Theater for the picture. Either way, there's A/C. :teeth:

Why don't just equip the whole Caribbean Sea with a/c, my spoiled friends? ;)

But I also like the idea with the Mickey statue ::yes:: And I'm that if LauraRN comes with us again her DH will have the right lens to get us all on one picture.

BTW, talking about cameras: I just won an auction for an underwaterhousing on ebay. I got a brandnew housing certified for depths down to 120 feet for €60 + S&H - MSRP is €229!!!!.
Now I have to get the matching camera. It fits a Canon Powershot 330, a 2 Megapixel-cam with a 3x optical zoom, which can be found on ebay for about 100-150€. As I'm not exactly in a hurry to get that cam, I can take my time a wait for a good opportunity. 2 Megapixels don't sound much, but for underwater photigraphy it is more than sufficient.

Laura.

Thank you so much for the card you sent our family....It is a great pleasure to know that there are such warm hearted people like yourself still left in this world!!!!!

And to all others thank you for your special wishes for Barbara's birthday.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Folks,
the new list is 70% done. Brace yourselves for some changes: The orientation is now vertical, the number of columns has been reduced, the content has been slightly reduced, etc. All this is intended to make for a leaner file and easier mailing.
Info omitted from the new list will not be lost, but put on the Activity List: i.e. Night before the cruise, dining groups, etc.

It's already nearly 1am over here, gotta catch some Zs

Marianne, The closest number without going over, what is this, The Price is Right? Just kidding, I think that's a great idea. And since I've already sent my guess, I'm locked in anyway.
I love the picture on deck 7, but the one from the lobby gave us stairs to layer the group. Plus we got to show off our singing talents. And we picked up the "mystery cruiser".:hyper: Never found out who that was.
Eric, The new list sounds great. I think this group will break all previous records.

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great time my family and I had on Cruisetoberfest III. Marianne, and our evening putting the ship to sleep, Jen & Peter,Tracy & Bill, hanging out at the Cove. Allen &MaryMargeret running into you everywhere! LOL. JeanneG, hanging with you and your hubby. Van, meeting you and your family. Laura, meeting you at the Radisson that first morning, and enjoying the rest of our adventures. Michelle, loved the Micky 200.
Charlie and Barbara, it was a pleasure. Jill & Tim, looking forward to doing it again.(Diving that is) LOL Sharon and the girls, can't wait to meet again. Maryellen and Larry, Sue & Joyce, Jeanne & Sam, Thanks for taking a chance with a bunch of strangers. We are so glad you joined our happy group.

To Eric and Anja, thanks for coming to PCB and sharing your lives with us.
Mike & Kathy, Cathy & Art, Dave & Ellen, Fiona & Jim, (thanks for not caring if I needed a shave)Bette & Kim, Andy & Arlene, (loved the songs) Nancy & Norm, (thanks for the book) Maryjo, Sam, & Sarah, Reneé, Lenny & Haley, ....What can I say? Thanks for everything! We just have to do it again!

I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Love, Avé

Ave we have enjoyed sailing with you and all of your fine family. Kathy and I would like to thank all of you that have made these cruises very special moments in our lives.

Eric thanks for all of your hard work on the lists. Good to know that our List Master is a stickler for details.

With two days at ports in Mexico there should be plenty of opportunities for people to snorkel or dive. Also Senior Frogs and Carlos and Charleys have their one wheel transportation ready to carry people back to the ship.
