The other Germs just mailed: They're back, they booked Cruisetoberfest IV while on board, and their vacation was a bit spoiled by Wilma. Now they're thinking about moving to another date to get out of hurricane season - help me convince them to stay with us!!!

As for the other Germs....I am hoping that we end up WITH a hurricane and then we'll just HAVE to stay on board for a few more days! Would that be so horrible? So, DON'T change! Take a chance and stay with us!

Okay, I need some trip planning help! We haven't made a dinner ressie for Thanksgiving night. I have been wanting to do this for a few weeks, but my procrastinating DH waited until today to call! The Disney choices are slim. Shula's $$$, Portabella's, Wolf Gang Pucks, and a few at the Swan and Dolphin. Is there any nice, but not overly expensive resturaunts in Orlando/Kissimmee? We are pretty much open to anything but seafood..just not huge fans, and the boys would starve! Any ideas? THANKS!

Well, if I was choosing, I would pick Sweet Tomatoes on International Drive. It is as inexpensive as you can get, and they have tons of selections. How about picking up a dinner at fort Wilderness and doing a picnic on one of the lakes at WDW ??

Ha,ha...because, believe it or not, she's still at the stage where she finds all guys "annoying"!!! It must be that all that chlorine has gone to her brain.......How is Seth doing, by the way? Is he pursuing a graduate degree or working in the real world?

Bette, Kim: congrats on the new look for the house!

Michelle: It's not very Thanksgiving-like, but whenever we have a car in Orlando we go to Chevy's at Crossroads. It's a Tex-Mex place with huge portions and great drinks. If I remember correctly there are lots of nice restaurants at Universal's Citywalk: we are very fond of the Motown place...they have great home style cooked entrees and live entertainment. We have also been to Jimmy Buffet's and an Italian place (can't remember the name)

Jeanne, I forgot to say, Congrats on snagging 5300!!

Chevy's sounds like a great place to go! We love mexican! I am bit leary about Sweet Tomato. I am afraid there won't be much for the boys. They are NOT veggie eaters! Do they have a good variety of pizza and do they offer plain pasta....no sauce? Connor could make a feast of just that. I found a neat site undercovertourist.com. They listed a lot of places. Of course, my neighbor that used to live in Orlando, said that any of the hotels will have a Thanksgiving dinner that night too. I am still open to ideas!

Kim & Bette -- The house looks great.

Michelle - I'll vote for Sweet Tomato. We were there for lunch with Peter, Jenn, Eric, Anja, Kim & Bette (hope I didn't forget anyone!). It doesn't just have veggies. If I remember correctly it does have plain pasta too and pizza.

It was a really nice day today here but it's supposed to rain tomorrow.
