Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

Has anyone stayed in the love bug section before, if so how far is the walk? I had request to be near the front/ transportation with a standard room though had a random updated invoice come through saying love bug next to it. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m not too fussed either way.

I have. Walk was not far at all. I didn’t time it but it seemed like 2 minutes to the lobby maybe. I know some of the reviews make it seem like you’re walking 40 days and nights to make it to the lobby, but I’ve never had that experience at any of the values I’ve stayed in, and especially not from this section.

Thank you that’s great to know , I’ve tried to look at videos and also photos on touring plans but was difficult to really tell how far it actually was.

Does anyone know the type of music they play throughout the AS Movies Resort (in the lobby, food court, pools, etc.).

Ive stayed at AS Music & they played standard music you'd hear on the radio, nothing Disney related. I kinda assumed this would be the case seeing as the theme of the resort is music. I've also stayed at Art Of Animation & they played lots of Disney music. Movies is similar to AoA in theme, so I'm hoping they play disney music..but it is also a sister resort of AS Music so i have a feeling it might play the same music they have there.

Additional question: do they play Christmas music during the holiday season (late November/early December)?

The All-Stars don't all have the same music. I stayed at All-Star Sports last year and they played sports-themed music on the busses (Take Me Out to the Ballgame, We Will Rock You, etc.).

I stayed at All-Star Movies in 2021 and I'm trying to remember what music they played. I want to say I heard the Harry Potter theme on the bus--so definitely not all Disney music!

EDIT: Never mind, that was actually at All-Star Music, so who knows!

Disney's All-Star Movies Fantasia Kiddie Pool Closing Through Late October

From September 8 through late October 2025, the Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for maintenance.


During the closure:

• The Fantasia Feature Pool and Duck Pond Pool will remain open for guests.
• Guests staying at All-Star Movies cal also to use the kiddie pools at Disney's All-Star Music and All-Star Sports Resorts.
• Disney says that maintenance activity may be visible or audible around the construction area throughout the project period.
