Denise -- Unfortunately I couldn't open the picture so be sure to post another one when you get home. I am really anxious to see what that breed looks like -- have never heard of a Belgian Malinois.

Agree with you completely regarding Tom Cruise and his attitude -- seems as tho he is THE expert on everything. Also, I think he is going a bit overboard regarding his new love (jumping on Oprah's sofa, etc.). Wonder how long this romance will last.

Hello all! It's been awhile since I've been able to post....the hectic life of a mother of a 5 YO & a 2 YO! I just wanted to let everyone know that my very best friend since childhood will be joining us on our cruise! I am SO excited! She moved from Wisconsin to Florida about 6 years ago so I only get to see her once a year or so. She is married with a 18 month old daughter & they are trying to adopt her husbands 12 YO nephew (long story). They are all booked and were able to get a cat 6 room just 4 down from our room! They actually got a really great price on the cruise (IMO) due to the Florida resident rates.

Tracy, SO GLAD your friend will be able to cruise with you. I have cruised every time (3) WITH MY BEST FRIEND. (My twin sister Mary) And of course all our Dis Friends! The more the merrier!!!!

Well, we didn't have a good day yesterday. What is the name of that book....Terrible, rotten, no good day? It started off nice, Steve went back to work, but had another pharmacist there, so we went to lunch, which is rare for us to do. Got him back to work, the kids ran out to play, and I decided that I was going to see about getting my sweeper fixed. I stepped into the garage to get the sweeper, stepped on the edge of the mat and twisted up my ankle/foot. It swelled up right away and turned blue. I thought for SURE it was broke. I called Steve home from work and he took me to the ER. When we got back, the kids came home from the neighbors and Colton looked aweful. I have had him to the dr already this morning. No ear infections..which is what I thought since he went to bed with ear aches...but he does have sinus infections! AND to end the day yesterday, Connor decided to see if the sparkler was still hot. Yep, it was was. He has blisters on the ends of his index and thumb. I nearly went to bed crying last night! Whatelse could have gone wrong?!?!?! I have only taken Colton to the DR and my foot is telling me to stop and sit, but I can't! They have 10am dentist appts and Connor has a 130 PT appt! I will be sore this evening! I hope everyone's day today is better then mine yesterday!
Mike, I hope that you get your A/C fixed today. That is NOT FUN!!!!

I hope things are going better for you today......some days are like that. But yes, I know the book you are referring to - "Alexander and the Terrible, Rotten, Horrible, No Good Bad Day" (or something like that!) - it was popular when my own kids were just teenie weenies! Sounds like you need to treat yourself to something special. Chocolate always works wonders for me!

Thanks for the pixie dust! We sure need it! (edit to add: I am thinking a DQ LARGE Chocolate cone is in order after Connor's Appt!) I did get a good email today! More photos of Daisy! I can't believe she is 4 weeks old already! That means I have just 4 weeks to get my house in order and get all her supplies! It's going to be a busy time!

Mike -- sure hope your a/c is fixed now. It is warm here but the humidity is absolutely awful. Worse than the heat, I think.

Oh Michele, Sorry you had such a tough day. Hope you, your ankle and Conner are all feeling better today. Cute pup!
DH and I didn't get home till 6pm tonight, looks like it's take out Chinese for us!
The foundation of the house is STILL NOT POURED!
We were told it would be done the week we were in DC, but there was a minor problem, and it had to wait till we got home. Now the footer is dug, the rebarb and plastic sheeting is in place. So should be any day now. Hopefully hurricane Dennis will stay away!

Got some exciting news yesterday. My doctor/boss put in a bid on a clinic less then a mile from my house. It comes completely equipped, medical equipment, computers, phones, everything. We would just have to move our charts and supplies. We are still waiting to hear if the offer is accepted. Keeping our fingers crossed.

No more shark attacks this weekend, Thank Goodness! The media was a little crazy there for a few days.
