I just finished our check-list for Vienna. Tomorrow I'll leave the office at 2pm :cool1: and start packing. I hope to be finished when Anja comes home at 345pm - at least with my stuff ;)
The day before yesterday I became a member of Amazon-DVD-rental and today the first DVD arrived: 'Ladder 49'. We saw that movie on the return flight from Bangkok and loved it. Will watch it tomorrow.

Ladder 49 was playing on the Magic during Cruistoberfest III..........where were you?

I know he wasn't with us watching it because we didn't have to pass him kleenex!

Exercising ? :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Most probably at the pool :teeth: Why should I sit in a dark cinema when I can enjoy the Caribbean Sun :sunny: :confused3
But yes, Anja needed a Cleenex and even I had a lump in my throat ;)

Happy Independence Day in advance to everyone as we probably won't be on-line next week.

Today I found another nice thing to do while in Vienna: There's a hydrofoil speedboat commuting between Vienna and Bratislava in Slovakia. We may be doing this.

Hey Eric,

If you want a real "tearjerker" movie, rent City of Angels. If was a wonderful movie and even softened my hard heart..

Have a great holiday..

Bye, Kim

Thanks, Kim :wave2:
Why should I rent a movie I own? :rotfl2:

Happy Canada Day to Jim & Fiona :cheer2: :bounce:
I just looked it up and learned that it is the same for you as 07/04 for your neighbors to the South, 10/3 for us or 07/14 for the Froggies.
Enjoy your long weekend :wave2:

OK, gotta continue packing - C U l8er

Peter, Rent "Signs" with Mel Gibson and "Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis. Both these movies were directed by the same guy who directed "The Village".
Eric and Anja, Have a safe and happy trip! :flower:
Hope Everyone has a wonderful weekend! :sunny:

Folks,
we're ready with packing and going to retire now. Perhaps we may find the time tomorrow to have a quick look at the Boards before we leave for Austria - If not: Have a great long weekend in Canada and the USA, enjoy your national days, and have a great week. If there are any newbies this week, please tell 'em that I can do an update on 07/10.

Bye Bye, the Germs

Have a great trip Anja and Eric.

Good to see you again Nancy. Hope that you, Norm and the boys are well and have a safe and happy holiday.

Good to know that Mary Jo and Sarah are back safe and sound.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend and a Happy fourth of July. Mike

Hello all! Just wanted to pop on and let you know we are back from the beach! Had a great time! I'll have to catch up on posts sometime tomorrow...going to have pizza and head to Walmart for groceries....Pickles don't go very far by themselves! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Sam & I went to see War of the Worlds yesterday. It was very good & we both enjoyed it. Not often that we are interested in the same type of movie so this was a fun thing for us to do.

Denise -- Only 10 days until you graduate and get to move back home!  I know you and Chris are excited about that. Have you sent us a picture of your new partner yet? There are so many posts on this thread that it's hard to keep track of what I have read.

Weather here is cloudy and expecting rain again today and tomorrow. Very unusual for us to have so much rain in the summer months in NC. Sam finally got into our pool yesterday.

Hope every one has a great 4th of July!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2: :bounce: :bounce:

Jeanne - Chris and I went to see that movie too, I got to come home for my 3 day break. Quite liked it, even though Tom Cruise is not high in my regards lately, for his personal views!:sad2: I think he can have any opinion he wants, he just comes off as a know-it-all and seems to think we should all listen to him regardless of the fact that he is an actor, NOT a doctor.

How is this one working out?I wiil try to put a better picture out soon, my little Ben (a belgian malinois-He is not a prime example of a belgian malinois, they swear he's pure bred, but I've never seen one who looks like him!;)) and I, when I get back after the 14th. It can't get here soon enough! My first day back, I have to start cleaning, Chris has been trying, but....:faint: Take care everyone!
