DS is home for the weekend but sick as a dog. He wanted to go to the doctor so I made him an appointment for 11am this morning -- he never asks to go to the doctor so he's really not feeling well. It sounds like it might be bronchitis but we'll see.

Supposed to rain today and isn't too warm either.

Cathy and/or MaryJo or anyone else who may know.... Do PA State Parks allow dogs in the picnic areas, in particular, The Promised Land SP? Thanks. Heading out that way for Memorial Day weekend and need a park to party in.

Saw Sweet Charity last night with Christina Applegate. Very enjoyable show.

Ave - From my research, St. Andrews does NOT allow dogs in camping area. Can you confirm same for me?

Jeanneg - I did not have a yard sale, that was the CrazyCunninghams who did so well (great going CCs). As matter of fact, finally gave up the notion of having one and donated much stuff recently to clear out garage. I had been moving stuff in there since last year saying I would have a yard sale but never did.

Eric & Anja - Good luck on new car buying.

Hello, just in for a quick weekend getaway and thought I'd drop in. Hated to read about some of the things happening, hope it all dies down soon.

Hope everyone has a great time on their 14 day cruise, wish I could be there instead of in VA. Training is fun, but exhausting! Running around for 8 hours a day trying to train two high energy dogs is not easy. I rarely make it past 8pm, I am so tired. Haven't even had a chance to go to DC yet, thereby missing a mini meet, which I would have loved to have been at.

Well, Chris is hollering to get a move on, I have to fly back at 9pm, we are on our way to take the fur babies on a nature walk right now. Stay safe and well everyone, Denise

Just found a web-site offering 16% on the car we want for members of the ADAC (German equivalent to AAA). They already sent me the contact infor for teh dealership they're cooperating with. It's 150 mls from our place, but they give you a €20-voucher for gas if you business with them. I already received the contact-info from them and will contact the dealer on Tuesday - we'll see.

Hi Guys Bette & Kim here..

We are at Castaway Cay, weather is very nice. We decided to stay on the ship today and relax. We just were able to get vouchers for the pin being released today, this whole pin issue is a major DISASTER !!! So is any thought of getting a t-shirt or hat. There are 2 other groups on the cruise and they do not understand the meaning of SHARE! . LOng story , we will post more on that later.

Very sad note for all us Disers, today we lost one of our Disers while at the beach at Castaway Cay. Do not know for sure but appears to have been a heart attack/ drowning ?? Very sad for everyone.

Tomorrow and Tuesday are sea days so we will be back in touch tomorrow with more info.

The only thing that would make this cruise better is to have you all with us.

Bette & Kim - I'm so glad that you're having a good time. It's too bad that people can't share, though. I'm so sorry to hear that someone passed on, but you can't beat your last days being on Castaway Cay.

Amy the girls are so cute. Kim and Bette glad that you are on the cruise with our fellow DISer's , but sorry about the loss. All on board are in our thoughts, but we have a special place in our hearts for the ones that we have cruised with before. We will have to make that place a little larger to include our new friends on our cruise next year.

We are having slow cooked pot roast in the oven, along with fresh skillet fried corn, great northern beans with smoked neck bones for seasoning and a skillet of buttermilk cornbread and brownies for dessert. Not quite the treat of dining on board with you guys, but comfort food for us.

Enjoy your days at sea and we will be looking for you on the panama canal web cams on friday. Keep us posted. WATCH OUT for that sneaky Peter with the camera phone. Mike

Switched on lap top while watching Survivor and it is now not as important since the first post I read was Bette/Kim's post of a fellow Dis'er dying on CC. How very upsetting. My thoughts and prayers for the family and friends of this person. Waiting for more info.
