Hi everyone--- We got back from WDW this afternoon. Since we were in Florida we missed the snow and our neighbor snowblowed our driveway for us so didn't have to deal with that when we got back. However, since the snow was so heavy my bushes were nearly flat with the Christmas lights laying on the steps. So Norm removed the snow and redid the lights. Nothing like doing them twice.
We had a great time in WDW. With my AP got a great rate for AKL savanhanna view which was really great. We really liked AKL and would stay there again for the right price. It was warm Thursday and part of Friday, but Sat was really cool with a wind chill factor of 40. We had our winter coats, hats, and gloves on as the wind was really blowing. Of course, I shouldn't complain since I wasn't home dealing with the snow. We did
MVMCP on Thursday and Candlelight Procession 2x. Rita Moreno was wonderful as the narrator on Friday night, she was really into it. Miss America did Sunday night and we didn't enjoy her as the narrator. She was expressionless throughout the entire thing. It was a sharp contrast compared to Rita Moreno. We had really great meals eating at Boma, LeCellier, and Teppanyaki. I finally got brave enough to do Mission Space. We had 3 hours until we were to have dinner, so thought if I felt sick would have time to recover before dinner. The ride didn't bother me at all, so will be doing it on future trips. Of course today as the weather was heating back up, we had to come. Will start to watch for discounts for hotels and airlines and maybe will take another trip before the winter is over especially if it is going to be snowing like last winter.
Happy Belated Birthday Fionna. I forgot you also have the Dickens Village. Mine is all out and am restraining from buying any more houses. You just start to run out of room after awhile. At last count I have 30 houses. Mine will stay up until end of Feb or early March.
I'm heading off to bed early. Since I am back to the real world tomorrow.
