Jill (The Adams Family) -- Good luck on your move! What a horrible shock to have to move out in a few days time with no notice. The nice part is that it will all be over with several weeks before we cruise so you won't be trying to pack for the cruise and pack up the house at the same time. Let us know how it went when you get your computers back up.

1200 Noon EST !!!!
I declare the mailbox closed :p

Both Lists are done, but I'll do some statistics before sending them. Due to the adverse weather I'll even have time to work the 'Handy List', the shrunk-down edition for use on the ship.
Everybody who doesn't have his stateroom# yet, please mail it as soon a you get it. As stated before I intend to do and Ultimate update before we're leaving for the USA.
BTW, we got our tickets and the carvoucher, now we only need our docs for the cruise and we're ready to go.

It is very sunny here and very muggy as well. Going to a play this afternoon with my mother which should be interesting. Not sure what the play is though yet.

Can't believe that we are leaving for the cruise in a month. Have tons of stuff to do (since Jim's packing is so light!). You'll notice that he left off bathing suit on his list -- one trip to WDW we had to stop and buy one cause he didn't pack it. :p

DS will be home either tomorrow or Monday I think -- arrival details weren't important to convey but he won't be thrilled that school starts again a week from Tuesday!

Must go and finish laundry. Am debating getting a suitcase out but have to clear space to put it in the bedroom first.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Fiona

Geez...just missed one day and there is alot of catching up to do....

On the Formal note: I decided against a red slinky formal dress...it is first piece of clothing that is actually too long for me and I felt like I was wearing a night gown. And I feel much more comfortable in two black dresses that I got earlier this year. Tim is wearing a black suit.

We too are still waiting for our docs...I am using the theory that they will be here Monday, as our 9/25 docs arrived last Monday and the 10/02 is one week after.....ok, so not such a great theory, but it keeps me going.

Yesterday was my 31st birthday and we headed down to Denver to see the 75th Anniversary Mickeys that are on display. We only saw about 6 of the 16 that are here....we got a late start and dinner was calling our names! They'll be here through late Oct, so we'll make a trip down there again. Finally, my MIL got me a gift that I like! Disney Dollars and Eeyore PJ's and slippers! (I just keep wanting to tell her "imagine you are buying a gift for a 6 year old!") Funny thing is, my mom got me THE SAME EXACT GIFT! We are getting hooked up with the Disney Dollars....over $500 between our anniversary and birthday gifts and our Disney Visa! Helps with the finances just a bit!

Goodness it is getting so close...and I still have no dog sitter for Copper! I am going to have to bribe my parents somehow to watch him......but they live in a smaller house, and they already have a dog and 2 cats, add Orion and Copper (who isn't fully house trained yet:( ) and you have a zoo for 3 weeks.

Happy Birthday Jill :bday: :flower3: :cake: :cheer2: I'll be 37 tomorrow, so I'm hoping my docs come on Monday as a birthday present to me! My DSis is sending me a gift on the ship. I think I know which one too! My mom gave me the gift that keeps on giving - $$$. Hope you had a great birthday and we'll have to celebrate on the Eco Tour on Antigua :jumping4:

Getting close now and a great picture of Magic on the port cam right now!

Tracy

Jill...

Solved your problem with Copper...Just send him here....my ds will never notice....When there are four running around, what's one more...we just tell him "of course we've always had five...."

Nothing but the best for our puppies.....
one of the girls Jen works with

Ok so the fence with every pickett was just not cutting it

little one would end up 2 streets over..
on some ones back deck and big one would also SQUEEZE thru
as the picketts are only Stapled on she would want to be with her sister so .. Chicken wire it is
have installed in between each section and puff no more geting out for the little buggers..

lol

Safety First Jen is much happier that she can not worry about them being in the yard..

in return i am much happier

:hyper:

Folks,
both the Final Editions of The List and the Activities List are in your mailboxes.

Kim,
you were a tad late with your stateroom#, but I'm sure that need for an Ultimate Edition will arise.

There's a brandnew storm heading for our friends in SC.
Check picture It must be a fast breeder, I haven't seen him this morning and now Gaston is threatening Charleston

Thank u Eric and Anja for putting up with him..

According to this list

there are 20 out of 25 spot taken by this group
wonder who the other 5 are ??
please make them feel Welcomed or Scare them away so we can go..
maybe i was wrong and there are only 20 spots in that case u need to ask the Captain if there is room for 2 more LOL

If there are 20 then u should see if it is less to Charter the entire ship Could save u some money.....

Peter

Pete,
perhaps Jill as the person responsible for that excursion could ask them to find a spot for you - Especially as we have six kids among us who do not take up so much space ;)

We are batening down the hatches in Charleston. The storm did spring up pretty fast, but we have been watching it for a few days. 3 out of 4 weekends this month have been marked with tropical storm systems! And of course next weekend we will be impacted in some way (as yet to be determined) by Frances.

Formal clothes....DH will be wearing his Tux, DS also has a tux. I am doing the black beaded cocktail length dress, with different shoes /purses/ wraps for each formal night. DD will need a dress which I will be shopping for tomorrow (weather permitting;) )

Eric, got the list...Thanks again for all your hard work on it. As a former list keeper, I know how much work it is.

Jill (Adams) best of luck with your move. Let us know when you are back on line.

Jill and Tim...please be prepared for questions from my DD. She is a dog nut(all animals really) and will probably want to ask you about your 4-legged partners!

Peter and Jen....got my fingers crossed you are able to get a spot on the Eco-tour

Happy Birthday Jill!!!princess:

Mary,
we're keeping our fingers crossed for you.
We saw that storm system east of the Carolinas last night on the satellite image and wondered that it wasn't named yet. And then this morning it popped up as Gaston - But meanwhile it has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression.
It's Frances I'm worried about: It has just been upgraded to a 4!!
That is scary:eek:

Ooops,
that was obviously a bit early:I just checked the NOAA-site again and now Gaston is back and may even reach hurricane strength before hitting the SC-Coast :(
Our thoughts are with you ::yes::

Gotta catch some Zs now

PS:
Congrats on your girls winning the Basketball Gold:cheer2:

Eric -- Just took a look at the latest lists -- thanks again for all your hard work! I thought UGotMeal was funny when you told us that you gave that name to our dinner group (the former No Name Table), but seeing it in bright fuschia on the list is absolutely hysterical!!! I am still laughing.

Good luck to our SC friends -- hope the storm moves away and out to sea. There sure are a lot of tropical storms and hurricanes around this month. Hope that means that all will be smooth sailing for us in October.

I'm a happy cruiser! Got my lists! Thank you Eric. :p

Mary, and other folks in the Carolinas, Thinking about you. Be safe!!

Watched the Olympics way too late last night. Got to get some solid sleep tonight.

Later,
Avé

Herzliche Glückwünsche zum Geburtstag, Tracy :bday: :cake: :cheer2: :thewave:

The storm is hitting right now, and I am going nuts because of course the cabel is out:mad:
Of course I can't find the darn radio!
Wind is whipping pretty strong and the animals can't understand why I will not let them out!

Thinking about you Mary and hopefully the cable won't be out too long!! Your animals want to go out? Our dog wouldn't want to go out at all -- she's be shaking on someone's lap if there was a storm outside. Rain she hates. Course a blizzard she might be out there.

Happy Birthday Jill!!

Kim & Bette -- Are you sure about that stateroom number??
