#3900. Yay!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :teeth: :Pinkbounc

Finally. I have been trying to get a mark for the longest time. Now I'll try for 2000. I probably won't get it but it is worth a try. I guess staying up til 12:30am has its good sides.

Viking, Zapp113 and I have linked dinner reservations, no name for the table though, any thoughts would be appreciated.

We'll also be staying the night before at the Hyatt MCO.

As of last week DCL still had not assigned us a stateroom.

Jeanneg, so glad you made it home safely and enjoyed your trip. Thanks again for checking on the seltzer.

Sharon,
please send me a mail concerning your dining group. I do not use the thread to collect info as a) the chances are that info gets lost and b) it's simply too much work.

Ciara,
I bet you any sum that you won't get 2000 :teeth:

Update on Earl:
He's now headed due West for Yucatan. Good that we're not going to Cozumel this year.

Ave ... That's really sad. Talking or e-mailing is really better than to just keep it inside. Don't feel bad telling us. Hard to believe your kids are back in school already. They get a break shortly, don't they. Oh to be kids again and have the only worry, school!

Jeanneg ... Sounds like your cruise was fun. You did leave the ship in good shape for us didn't you!!!

Peter ... Was wondering where you were and when we'd see the pictures of your "fur kids". They're cutties. When you find the remnants of "mischief" do they point their paws at each other and say she did it?

I have most of the name tags done ... If I get chance, I'll send out a list of who's tags are done and see who else wants them.

I've heard from PADisneyFan ... Nancy and Norm ... she's been a little under the weather. Pixie Dust to her!

Back to work ........................

Piglet 33, cdnmickeylover, and all others who have linked diner reservations with us at the best table on the ship ( LOL LOL)

What do you guys think about doing a pirate theme dress up at dinner on the night of the new theme party, which is Pirates <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_10.gif' border=0></a> ?, Disney will also have a special pirate dinner menu that night. I checked a party supply place and we can get tons of stuff for a few bucks a person, like, eye patches, hats and so on <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1062.gif' border=0></a> ...

So what do our table mates think ???

Bye, Kim

Goofynut - if it is not too late, DH and I would also like the name tags. Sorry it took so long to reply, we just got back from visiting Up North and had to catch up on the boards. Glad to hear that it sounds like everyone made it through the storms and here's to hoping the other ones blow out before they can do any more damage.

Sounds good to me. Haley and I have matching outfits that I thought we'd wear on tropical night. Guess we'll be wearing them with pirate accessories!

Would love to do a pirate theme dressup. So looking forward to this cruise.

Love the new pictures of the puppies Peter & Jenn. So cute.

We were at the Jays game yesterday afternoon and it was bring your dog to the game. They had 275 dogs there. We didn't take Lily as they were sitting in a special section and we had the company tickets. Maybe next year.

Bettemom: Don't be selfish just because you came up with a great idea! You need to share the magic with all your friends at the other tables so we can all be pirates! We will be given red bandanas and I noticed that all the kids were also given eye patches. Most people wore their tropical outfits that evening, but the navigator actually suggested "Carribean" attire. Maybe we should all arrive in black pants and a red and white striped top....I think it'd be a blast! Just one thing....... where can I find a cheap top like that as it's not something I would ever wear again? Horizontal stripes are not particularly kind to me......

BTW, we stayed at the Ron Jon resort for 2 nights before the cruise and it was awesome. You will definitely love it.....the rooms are so spacious and bright with great decor. We had a one bedroom and it slept 6 comfortably although we could have benefited from at least another half bath (there was only one full bath for the entire unit). I never made it down to the beach which is a short walk or tram ride away. The poolwas very large and the lazy river was great. The water slide looked like lots of fun, but several people complained that it hurt going down so I opted not to try it. Best of all, there were PLENTY of lounge chairs at poolside. I think it's because they have this funny policy about pooltowels that actually has some other benefits: each person is provided one pool towel at check-in. You can trade it in for a clean one as often as you like but you must return the old one first. Because of that, nobody just leaves towels around to save chairs because if you don't have a towel in your possession at the end of your stay they claim they will charge you $15. It's probably just an idle threat but it does make people cautious about their towels. They also have a gymboree type playroom for younger kids, a free movie threatre (we saw "Cheaper by the Dozen" and my sons saw "Hellboy"), free miniature golf and a small convenience store. We loved having the kitchen for breakfast and snacks. Had we stayed at the Radisson we would have needed 2 rooms so this was truly a bargain. With tax it was only about $156/night. As far as I know, they do NOT have a shuttle to the port, but that was not an issue for us and we would definitely stay there again.

The pirate theme sounds good to me! Is this a definite change from the tropical night? I'm not sure that I will be able to find pirate clothes for the two of us, tho. I thought that I read somewhere that it was being tried as an experiment to see what people thought of it -- altho if they have a pirate menu, it sounds like a pretty definite change. And what do pirates eat anyway?

Can someone explain to me how you can get #3900 in the early a.m. and then 2000 (or 2001) several hours later???? What am I missing here?

jeanniec: your tropical outfits will be absolutely fine.....that's what everybody else was wearing. They actually gave us a copy of the menu because it was rolled up like a treasure map. I don't have scanning capabilities but I could certainly copy it and fax it to you. It is very similar to the old tropical menu but with some enhancements. There was also a very special towel animal and something else a little different on our beds that evening, but I'm not going to ruin the surprise! Our cabin steward was Ike and he was absolutely AMAZING! The four kids all slept together in a Cat 11 and it was always a disaster area.........he performed magic in getting it back to order every day. On top of it all, he was always very cheerful and friendly to the kids and spent quite a bit of time teaching them how to make the towel animals.

jeanneg:It's a 12 hour difference and it doesnt take long on these boards to make 8 or 9 posts in 12 hours. I am on the computer all the time so I always know what number post we are at.
