my son now 21 left on a plane one way ticket to Colorado , my sis was nice enough to take him in... as he was a Herion addict after 5 rehabs in less than a year with no success we let him know he could no longer stay living at our house , or visit ( the hardest thing i ever did ) to try to start a new life ..
well i am Giving God thanks today , he left on the plane in withdrawl .. hung in there , and has a great job. shares an apt with a work mate. and is 100% CLEAN !! He had friends die from the fentanol in Detroit this summer ..
God is Great .. We go in 5 days to see him .. for 2 weeks
this is a good day...

tell him congratulations! that is a very hard road to walk. i have seen loved ones walk it.
. Your post brought tears to my eyes, for as a parent I can only imagine how difficult that decison was. Wonderful to hear your son was one of the lucky ones to see the light and praise God is rehabiliated and doing so well! I lost my 38 yo baby brother to an alcohol and prec drug overdose and know that terrible pain
