That must have been the hardest thing you've had to do but you probably saved his life. Congratulations to your son. Enjoy your trip!

Wow! Now that's a testimony!! Congrats to you and him!

God bless,

Robinrs

Bless your heart  . Your post brought tears to my eyes, for as a parent I can only imagine how difficult that decison was. Wonderful to hear your son was one of the lucky ones to see the light and praise God is rehabiliated and doing so well! I lost my 38 yo baby brother to an alcohol and prec drug overdose and know that terrible pain :sad1: .

I know you can't wait to wrap your arms around him. :goodvibes

God does indeed work in mysterious ways. ^i^

That is great news, huckster! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

I hope you have a wonderful visit!!!

Good for you! I am so very happy for what you did, even though it was the hardest thing you ever did in your life. Enjoy your visit with your son! :thumbsup2

That is great news! I bet that was the hardest thing you ever did, putting him on that plane a year ago, but look at how it turned out! You saved him and you should feel proud.

Your post brought tears to my eyes Huckster! God Bless you and your family and may your son remain clean forever. What a hard road he has had and still ahead. Your news is wonderful!!
I had a friend who I grew up with die at 33 because of an overdose. The one that killed him was his last "hoorah" before going into rehab the next day. He died in a hospital ER waiting room in NYC all alone and his drug buddies dropped him off and left. Stories like Paul's are all to common.
Your son definitely has a story to tell. May he help others as he helps himself.
You have a safe trip to CO and enjoy your time with someone you haven't been with in far too long ( as in he hasn't been his real self for as long as he was an addict).

God Bless your sister--she was very brave.

God bless your son. I am so happy for you!!

I love stories like yours! Good for you and your son. Enjoy your much deserved visit! :sunny:

Congrats on the good news. I hope you have a wonderful reunion!

That is awesome, awesome news...tough love is the hardest and yet can end up being the most rewarding...good luck to your son and your family :thumbsup2

Sending best wishes to you and your son and and a heaping helping of Pixie Dust for continued success!!!

Addiction is so horrific. I am so happy that you and your family have found a way to lead your son to the light.
