1 night: clean, microwave a must

We only live an hour from Disney so we never really have a need to stay there. DH and DS have an activity at the Wide World of Sports coming up which will require them to be there late the first night and back really early the next morning. I'd rather they spend the night somewhere instead of driving home so late only to turn around seven hours later and head back. I want to book a clean hotel in the area that has a microwave. Inexpensive would be nice, too! Any suggestions?

The Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista is clean and close by. You often can find it on Travelzoo or Bookit for around $50.

Not sure about the microwave though....they do have a fridge.

The Fairfield Inn Seaworld has small microwaves and refrigerators. It is a very nice location and includes breakfast.

The Springhill Suites in the Marriott Village. I think mousesavers has a link for a discounted rate, but they do take AAA. It is in a great location, too.

Buena Vista suites is right off Disney property. I always can get it for about $89/night ($100 with tax). No resort/parking fees or anything like that and they have a really nice buffet breakfast included in the rate. The rooms have a small fridge and microwave in them as well.

Can't beat the location, it is literally right outside the Disney gates and free breakfast can be a big money and time saver, especially for an athlete. We stay here all the time and love it. Check their site for their Thursday mornings internet sales...we usually snag the $89 rate then.

I second this hotel...it's about 6-7 minutes away from DTD. There is always a deal on Mousesavers and you can find it on LMT as well. I saw it on LMT recently for $71....they have a good pic of the pool that is the same as the hotel website.

You might also find a deal on a WDW room...depending on the dates there could be a discount. In January you could get a value resort, room only ressie, for approx $70/night incl tax.

OP, if you are still looking for rec's, I second this one.
This is one we have stayed at for a 10 day trip as well as shorter ones.
Has both a mw & fridge.
It was remodeled a year or two ago.
Good value for the $$$ and great location right out of the DTD gate.
