DH is attending a conference in Orlando March 28-April 1, and I'm going with him and leaving the kids at home. While we are not staying on Disney property (dang it!), we do plan to take one day to visit a park and enjoy a nice meal. Here are some of my thoughts:
1) Tour Epcot, since we've never really explored all the nooks and crannies on recent trips with the kids, and then leave the park through the International Gateway and have dinner somewhere on the boardwalk, i.e. Yachtsman's;
2) Tour Epcot, take the monorail to the Poly or Contemporary for an early dinner and return to the park for the evening fireworks (or have a late dinner at Contemporary and watch fireworks from there;
3) I have also toyed with the idea of going to Animal Kingdom instead, a favorite of ours, but don't really have any convenient ideas for dinner.
We will more than likely be taking a shuttle or taxi from our hotel so will not have our own vehicle.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I am more than open to other ideas than what I have listed above. Thanks!
