1 Day Ticket

Is there any benefit to buying 1 day ticket beforehand or is the price the same as the gate price? This will be a short spring break trip in which we are spending the other days at the beach and only one full day in Orlando.

Also, we have not selected the park yet but my kids are favoring DHS. Would this be a park to avoid on a Monday in mid-March with a nightime EMH (were not staying on-site), but no Fantasmic? One of touring sites indicated AK was the park to avoid.

Same as the gate, there is no where to buy a discounted 1 or even a 2 day ticket.
