My question is, well to begin with we were at Universal the very first year that they opened and only half of the rides worked so we got a comp ticket to come back anytime to use :) So we went back in 2001 and we were going to go for two days so we just bought a 1 day ticket so we can do one day at IOA and the other at the studios. We only used to one day which was the comp ticket and we still have the ticket that was bought from 2001. We could not do the other day because my sister-in-law had a mini stroke so it cut our vacation short. We were really worried about her and could not see going to the park having fun while she was in this condition.( she was with us at this time). So my question is can I add another day to the one day pass and make it a two day pass so we can go back and forth from one park to the other. The one day pass do not have an expiration date on it only the day that we bought it.
thanks for any help at all:)

I dunno. You'd have to call customer service and ask before going. It's such a special case, that I'm sure a manager will have to get involved.
I definately wouldn't try to do it at the ticket window, they just tell you no and make you mad.
I'd call first and talk to a manager hwo knows all the rules.

The circumstances behind why you didn't use the one day pass shouldn't really enter into this at all...the fact is, you have a one day pass and want to upgrade it to the two day, right?

That's almost never a problem for them...they WANT to upgrade! :)

The only question is, what formula they would use, whether it is to put the amount that you paid for the pass, toward a new one, or more likely, they have a set rate in their computer for people upgrading from one day to more. I would just go to guest services and tell them what you need to do, I'm sure they'll be more than accomodating! Make sure you do it before entering the park and using the one day pass, of course. :)
