This just came to my mind because we'll be renting a car on 05/05 which is halfway through our trip. We only need the car for a day to head up to Daytona and to do some shopping in downtown Orlando.
The problem is that our car rental location (Enterprise closest to WDW) is only open until 2 p.m. and does not have after-hours drop off. This means that we'll have to keep the car overnight, drive to Enterprise first thing the next morning and drop it off which will prevent us from being at AK rope drop that morning.
The plan that I just came up with is to rent from the Enterprise location close to WDW, drive to Daytona, do our thing all day, drop the car off at MCO (airport) and then take the magical express back to WDW. This would really save the hassle of dropping the car off the next morning but it would definitely take longer that night.
Has anyone done this before or do you know if this can be done?
Thanks!
