I have the free dining package booked for the end of August. I am traveling with a friend rather than my family, so I have a few questions.
The reservation is in my name. Will both our cards have my name on them? Can my friend leave her cc for charges to her card, or does only the person holding the reservation get to do that? Can I request to have out tickets separate from our room cards at check in? I'm not sure I want to use the base ticket - we both have old hoppers. I'm going with my family next year and might use the base ticket when I have more than a few days at WDW.
I know she can't check in without me, but can I check in without her? I know at one point the whole party had to be together at check in during the free dining promotion - hopefully that has changed now that you can't use children's credits for adult meals. With evening flights in late August, you never know when you are going to arrive and I don't want to have to wait for her to get in to get the room.
Thanks for any information. I'm used to traveling with my family, so many of these things I have never had to find out.
