I haven't been on the DIS much for awhile, but saw your PTR link on Rosie's thread so had to come over...you know what they say: "Better late than never", so here I am!!

Congrats to Ryan on his upcoming graduation!! Cody and Amy look beautiful!!

So sorry to hear of your co-workers accident.

I sure miss seeing "Live free or Die"...much more of that attitude in NE. Missing home- as always.

Off to catch up on the PTR! Gee, next Sunday you'll be on the way South! It's HOT & HUMID already!!!

Oh!! I just noticed you'll be going for Food & Wine too!! What fun!! I've been twice for F&W, but only once for F&G (with a very sick friend) so my dream is see F&G b/c we really did not see anything in 2005.

Have been 6 times in early December, but Rosie has never seen the parks all decorated so it seems the perfect time to celebrate our 65th birthday - we'll both have had our birthday by December so it will be a great celebration! (Rosie's is March and mine is late November). Feeling this one will be a go!! It was me who had to back out before, but 3rd time's the charm!!

Have you started packing? So excited for you!!

As for the Live or Die philosophy , NY could use a bit more of it ,they are totally ridiculoulous with their laws !!I do wish Car insurance wasn't mandatory for teens or at leat not astronomical rates !!!We are gonna be insurance poor very soon!!!

We are the opposite. We have seen F&G for the past several trips and we have never been in Oct. so I cannot wait to see the Halloween decorations & try F&W. That is great that you will be celebrating your birthdays!!

I went to visit Pauline yesterday. She is doing ok. She is anxious to go to the doctors on Thursday to see when he will be able to operate on her foot.

Only 6 more days!! I can't wait!!

Sometimes NH pushes it a bit much with the moto. If you get hit by someone without insurance it sucks because your insurance has to pay & then your premiums go up so it is not a good situation.

Yeah when vaca comes it is ok to be busy because then the time goes faster. Unfortunately vacation time goes even faster!!

Pauline is doing ok. She is anxious to have her foot operation on as she is in a lot of pain right now.

Amy's dress was beautiful. It looked great on her. Cody looked so much older all dressed up like that.

They had lots of fun at the prom. I guess he got circled around 3 times. I had to ask what that meant & he was out there dancing & because he does this "C Walk" kind of dancing the crowd circled around him. They had a good time. I am glad he went because my oldest did not go or participate in anything like that.

Yes very glad that Pauline is ok. It will take some time for her ribs & foot to heal but thank goodness it was not worse.

Yes hopefully Pauline will be ok once the surgery is done. Her foot will probably never be the same but as long as she gets her mobility back. She is not one to be stationery.

Hi everyone. Work has been CRAZY this week. One of my other part timers has the same virus that my deputy & I had so she was out today. My deputy had the day off yesterday & I am ready for vacation!!! OK enough about work...

I went to the eye doc. today for my annual check up. I needed new lenses which I figured because I am having a hard time telling the difference with 6's & 8's & when you're dealing with cash that is not good. I did not need the new lenses last year because my eyes had not changed that much but I knew this year I would need them. While I was there I got my sunglasses adjusted so they are all set for next week.

I still have not gotten the suitcases out but I think I am going to get them out tonight during the Bruins intermission. Thinking of all the laundry I have to do between now & Saturday has me but I do not like to pack too early as the will get wrinkled & I try to stuff as many clothes into my carry on as I can. Good thing I have Friday off. I have an appointment with my gastroenologist at noon but other than that it will be

Bruins just ties the game!! If the Bruins make it to Monday Ryan wants to go to the ESPN club & watch the game. That will be our first night there. I did not make any plans for Monday so we may end up watching a hockey game that night.

I did bring my suitcases up from the cellar last night. I put my luggage tag on it & that's as far as I got. My appointment is a recheck so it should go good! Thanks Kathy. Oh we will go. The Bruins are now up by one in the series so they will be playing Monday night. If they win tomorrow they could win the series on Monday night. That would be exciting!!
