1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

Lilian looks adorable in her dress! I forgot to tell you that when we were waiting for Bella's BBB appointment, there were two girls (sisters) also waiting with those same custom dresses! One was the yellow Belle color, and the other was the same blue as yours! I recognized the dresses right away from your PTR. What are the chances??? I didn't see the girls when they were finished and had their hair done but they looked really cute in the dresses!

When we were there, Dumbo always had a long line but I don't think it ever got past 40 minutes or so...and it was pretty crowded then. So it sounds like it would be do-able, but like everyone else said, you will probably just have to wait and see! You may end up having to get it out of the way first if Lilian is anything like Bella...she would not rest until she rode Dumbo! :lmao:

Thank you Kayce! That is funny how there were two other dresses similar to Lilian's! Crazy!! She had never made one like the princesses until I asked. :rotfl: I am not sure how Lilian would like to do her hair--she is not always a fan of wearing it up so I am not sure what she will select.

I checked just a bit ago using the Lines app, and it was at 21 minutes. I would probably be willing to wait that long to knock it off the list. :goodvibes

I've been away and I'm catching up!

First of all, things are getting close! And a cruise! Congrats! I bet that will be tons of fun. I'm sure I'll be following along to see how that goes!

Snacks...I'm not sure I've snacked much at disney...I've only had the DDP once before and DS had such crazy food allergies then that there wasn't that much I could have since he was still nursing. So I'll tell you what I want to get!

MK- Dole Whip, but I want to try one of those cookies with ice cream in the center, and I don't think I've ever had a mickey head ice cream bar.
DHS- not sure if I've ever had a snack here. I want to hit up Starring Rolls this time!
AK- I'm sure I've never snacked here. Not even sure what I would snack on. AK makes me want something exotic. Do they have exotic snacks here?
EP- Does club cool count as a snack? Can't miss that! I want to try the napoleon in France. Everyone makes it sound so good!

All time favorite—we always go to the boardwalk to get salt water taffy. Delicious.

And for note, the soft pretzels at DisneyLAND are amazing, but not so much at WDW.

Yikes that Lilian is outgrowing her clothes already! It's crazy how they grow sometimes, isn't it? But always good to have an excuse for more shopping! As for shopping, I try not to. Seriously. DS doesn't grow very quickly, so he wears the same clothes for years (which is a little sad since he's three. But he still wears all the clothes he wore at 1 ½.). Mostly, we shop the sales, so definitely not last minute.

Is it bad that I've never had a bad wait for Dumbo? Not the whole time I was at WDW with DS last time, nor the two times we went to Disneyland, and we rode it plenty of times everywhere, it was DS's favorite ride. So I guess we've just been lucky. If you have our luck, then your wait will be fine

Hi Christa! Glad to have you back. :goodvibes

Lilian is growing like crazy right now. She is definitely in the midst of another growing spurt. I try to hold clothes over but lately, that has not been working.

Good snack ideas! Hmm, did not realize that the pretzels were different. Some here on DIS rave about them. I will have to do a taste test and think of them against the mall pretzels. :rotfl2:

I hope we have the same luck as you do with Dumbo! :cloud9:

I've been MIA (sorry) but I jumping back in.... in Sept you will have NOOOO problem getting on Dumbo in the afternoon, esp right before closing! We have gone in Sept since 2004. We usually walk onto most things and have never waited more than 10 minutes for anything. Even with free dining going on. :thumbsup2

Lilian is so cute! She's getting so big. Did she reach the 40 inch mark yet?
Around 5:30/5:45ish you should have Dumbo to yourselves.
Or on the morning you leave, I think you said Lilian and you are going to open at MK? Do Dumbo, Peter Pan, and then Pooh. You'll be done with those around 9:20. After that either go wait for the Toontown RD or go to Tomorrowland.

Hey Kristine! No problem, I understand how life gets busy and in the way of DISing. :rotfl:

You think we should be good to go? The crowd level predictions are really low, mostly 1 or 2 with a 4 and 5 randomly in the middle of the week. I sure hope so because Lilian has her heart set on Dumbo. :thumbsup2

Thank you Barbara! When I measure Lilian at home, standing up straight, she is 40 inches!!!! (And that is without her Keens, which add about a 1/2 inch). :goodvibes

Yay, another who thinks I'm not completely crazy!! :lmao: I'm thinking we should be fine with Dumbo that night but we have not been in so long, I'm afraid I am way off the mark. We are going to try for it! I think we might make RD at MK our last Saturday. The other morning we are planning on being at MK is her birthday, which we will already be inside the park before RD so we will miss the show.

Totally jealous. J.J. will be 4 on November 18th (so he's just over 3.5, if you do the math ) and he's 37 inches if he stretches and you fudge it a little. ;)

Of course, I'm like, 5' 2" on a tall day and DH is probably 5' 7" or 5' 8", so he comes by it honestly...

Lilian just has hit another growth spurt, which I think is what sealed her hitting 40 inches. You never know, J.J. may hit one closer to 4 too, though I know you are going before then.

I'm not tall either, only 5.5, but there is height in both sides of the family. Perhaps she got the height gene.

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July! It is one of my favorite holidays. We had our annual BBQ and fireworks again this year. So much fun!! All the kids seemed to have a great time playing in the pool and "bathtub," running around with the bubble guns and playscape. Wendy and her wonderful family came over to celebrate with us! With the fireworks, it gave me a chance to play with my camera...gotta practice before Disney! ;) Here are a few pictures from the festivities:

The girls were really cute, laying and sitting on a blanket together. At one point, I had Lilian and Emily (Wendy's other daughter) on my lap. :goodvibes

I tried to get a shot of the girls with the light from the fireworks.

Now for the firework shots:

Have I mention I love  fireworks? Overall, I think I am learning how to get pretty decent shots with my camera. :goodvibes It was a great night and I think everyone had a good time.

I am busy working through itineraries for the days. Hard to believe but I have…

2 months left to go!!!!

It is flying by this summer. I hope to be a little better at updating and getting things done in the next few weeks! :thumbsup2

Even at 4s and 5s you won't have bad waits for things. I miss being able to go in September. It's super hot but the waits make it not seem as bad!

Thanks for inviting us! We had a great time even if it was so hot I lost 10lbs in sweat!!:lmao: The fireworks were awesome! Who needs Liberty Fest when you have the Charlefour's!! :rotfl2: Your fireworks pics turned out great! Another reason I need a new camera!

Holy Cow!! 2 months!!!! Tomorrow, your counter will say 1 month.....and some weeks, but who cares...1 month!!!

I'm still here! Great pictures! I think I've gotten spoiled by Disney fireworks. Other fireworks just don't impress me anymore. I'm glad you had a good 4th!

Don't Panic, but your ticker says 1+ month!!!!!!!!! :scared1: Are you ready??????:rotfl:

Thanks Kristine! I am glad to know. The numbers do not really mean a whole lot to me, other than wanting them to be low! :rotfl:
