1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

I love the organizational tool!!!! Great Job.
Your plans look good to me. You will find that once you get there and see how everything is going you may need to adjust a little but I think you have an awesome game plan. Its always great to have the hours too, just in case you need to make changes while your there. I think the break day in the middle of the trip is so key! I can also give you the advice on traveling in a large group with other relatives (since we just returned from our trip with another family) Make a plan, give the plan to others, if they dont want to follow it dont worry, let them do there thing, and meet up at a later time, dont sweat it and know that you all will get on each others nerves at one point or another, its part of traveling in a group. Dont let anything ruin your time. I think you did great leg work so that hopefully this doesnt become to much of an issue but dont sweat it if it does.

Cant wait to see more of your planning tools. I figured I dont need to post mine since you already saw the pics in my PTR.

I LOVE your charts!!!!! Mine aren't all that special so I won't post them. I have an hours sheet, and a chart just like yours with the morning/afternoon/evening. I am more of a list maker.

Thanks Sara! I'm sure they look just fine. I'm a list maker too! :upsidedow

missed the chart post ....

love them! I just love charts or sheets to jot down info and such...I will be posting my daily agenda sheets later on in my planning process :thumbsup2

Thanks Julie! We were probably posting at the same time. :goodvibes I am still trying to figure out the best daily agenda sheets, but I am working on them slowly. :thumbsup2

You know I love organizational charts, right?

Oh, and I am so jealous--I love MNSSHP, but alas, with a new principal in my building, I really think that it would be a bad idea to take a couple of personal days to go to Disney this year. I'll give it a couple before I try that, lol.

Thank you Lindsay! I am going to create a smaller set of cards for everyone entitled "Where in the World will Lilian Be" so everyone knows what mine and DH's plans are for any given day. That way they can decide if they want to join us or go their own way. :thumbsup2 I am worried about traveling with such a larger group and with so many first timers, being this is our only second trip. The other who have gone a bunch of times, I am afraid they will step in and try to control it all. I am hoping giving these booklets up front will solve most of that hopefully. :goodvibes

I should say the chart may adjust even before we go--that is version 6 I believe. :lmao: I know I am tweaking plans, anticipating the evenings to be a bit more relaxed and more go with the flow. I'm not going to be so crazy that we cannot deter from the plans--I just like having an idea of a plan. :thumbsup2

Probably don't want to upset the new boss. ;) I love charts and lists too! :thumbsup2

Love the charts! I just might have to steal your idea on the first one! Will you be bringing the charts to the parks with you?
P.S- I started my new PTR! Link is in my sig.

You will be fine. I think you thought of everything. I had to chuckle a little about the books you are making for everyone. I think that is an excellent idea. I just laugh because that is totally something I would do and my family would look at me like I have totally lost my mind.:lmao: My husband thought I was crazy when I made our little itinerary booklet to take along. But after leaving up the planning to the other family we went with this week he so appreciates my military style planning and doesnt like it any other way.;)

WOW! Very impressive charts Stephanie!!! I have a spreadsheet that I've made up but it's no where near as nice and organized as your charts! I may have to update mine with your ideas!!! :goodvibes

I can't imagine traveling with such a large group - DH and I like to do our own thing, and like you, I like to have a plan and know what we're doing when. I think what you're doing is a good idea - if people want to join you - great! But if not they know where to find you. Plus sometimes its nice to be able to go do your own thing and get away from the group for bit, and meet back up with them later.

Your plans look wonderful! You're so organized! I'm so jealous!!
Karen

Wow, you are super organized! I have everything I need in a little folder at work and I thought I was organized! :rotfl: You put me to shame! I love the first chart you made though, all the graphics make it so cute and colorful. I have a general idea of what we're doing each day but since I'm traveling with people who have never been there before, I want to leave things optional depending on what everyone else would like to do. Except the first night. Spectro and Wishes are a must!

;) sure you can steal it. :lmao: I am working smaller versions for the park to go in a small flexi binder I got. Hope to post it soon. :goodvibes

Thanks for the head's up! Heading over there shortly. :cool1:

I think everyone will get a chuckle but it will serve the purpose of not having to answer the same question 50 times--where are you going? They should be able to know the answer. I am not looking at military style but have a definite idea of where we will go each day. Evenings are going to be a bit more relaxed because I am not sure what Lilian will be like. She does not nap, so she is in bed around 8:00 or so but I am hoping she naps at Disney. The heat makes her really cranky (and some adults too ;)) so I think she will need them. If she does, she could easily be up until 10:00 I think.

Thanks Karen! I love my charts too. I am nervous about traveling with a larger group. Unfortunately, I don't really see us being able to do our own thing at any point. :sad2: I am just making it know up front, these are our plans, you can join if you want but if you are not interested, that's fine too.

I still have more organizing and planning to do--stay tuned. :goodvibes

I love the chart too--I like the idea of visually being able to quickly see plans. :goodvibes We each have our own ways of organizing--I'm sure you are super organized too. :thumbsup2
