TP usually recommends you avoid the park with early closing so I'm sure that's the issue more than the crowds. It's potentially do-able. You just don't know what the line situation will be!

Dumbo always has long ride lines because it is such a slow loading ride. So unless you go first thing in the morning you'll have to wait a while. Only a crystal ball will tell us if that wait is 30 minutes or 90 minutes. Maybe it's one of those things you evaluate when you get there.

Are you possibly going to make rope drop on one of your MK days? Or EMH in the a.m.? That is when we ride Dumbo; it is the first ride we hit on EMH a.m. day (Mark would be devastated, even at the age of 57, if he did not ride Dumbo).

I've read that Dumbo is often really easy to get on during Wishes. If you will be watching Wishes in front of the castle you might be able to do it then. We've actually planned it during Hallowishes because I want pics of the kids on Dumbo with fireworks in the background (behind FL).

I think you will be able to hit it, just make sure it's closer to park closing time when everyone is begining to filter out!

I think its doable, Stephanie. Why don't you download "Lines" for you phone (if you use a smartphone). I just did - its free if you have a subscription to Touring plans and I've had fun playing with it even though we have months to go. Its very cool to just randomly log on and see what they wait times are.

if the line isn't long and the wait is under 30 min then I'd debate it...I wouldn't stand in line any longer...it is just way to s-l-o-w....

I'd have it on your plan based on wait and trying to time it right plus have it on another day too...it's not going anywhere so if it doesn't work on Day 1) you have other chances, right?

I am back from vacation and all caught up!!! Your DD looks precious in her dress!! I try on my kids clothes every month until vacation---they grow like weeds

It's amazing how much they grow, almost overnight they outgrow clothes they wore the previous day!

I love the blue dress for the BBB appointment.

Lilian looks adorable in her dress! I forgot to tell you that when we were waiting for Bella's BBB appointment, there were two girls (sisters) also waiting with those same custom dresses! One was the yellow Belle color, and the other was the same blue as yours! I recognized the dresses right away from your PTR. What are the chances??? I didn't see the girls when they were finished and had their hair done but they looked really cute in the dresses!

When we were there, Dumbo always had a long line but I don't think it ever got past 40 minutes or so...and it was pretty crowded then. So it sounds like it would be do-able, but like everyone else said, you will probably just have to wait and see! You may end up having to get it out of the way first if Lilian is anything like Bella...she would not rest until she rode Dumbo!

I've been away and I'm catching up!

First of all, things are getting close! And a cruise! Congrats! I bet that will be tons of fun. I'm sure I'll be following along to see how that goes!

Snacks...I'm not sure I've snacked much at disney...I've only had the DDP once before and DS had such crazy food allergies then that there wasn't that much I could have since he was still nursing. So I'll tell you what I want to get!

MK- Dole Whip, but I want to try one of those cookies with ice cream in the center, and I don't think I've ever had a mickey head ice cream bar.
DHS- not sure if I've ever had a snack here. I want to hit up Starring Rolls this time!
AK- I'm sure I've never snacked here. Not even sure what I would snack on. AK makes me want something exotic. Do they have exotic snacks here?
EP- Does club cool count as a snack? Can't miss that! I want to try the napoleon in France. Everyone makes it sound so good!

All time favorite—we always go to the boardwalk to get salt water taffy. Delicious.

And for note, the soft pretzels at DisneyLAND are amazing, but not so much at WDW.

Yikes that Lilian is outgrowing her clothes already! It's crazy how they grow sometimes, isn't it? But always good to have an excuse for more shopping! As for shopping, I try not to. Seriously. DS doesn't grow very quickly, so he wears the same clothes for years (which is a little sad since he's three. But he still wears all the clothes he wore at 1 ½.). Mostly, we shop the sales, so definitely not last minute.

Is it bad that I've never had a bad wait for Dumbo? Not the whole time I was at WDW with DS last time, nor the two times we went to Disneyland, and we rode it plenty of times everywhere, it was DS's favorite ride. So I guess we've just been lucky. If you have our luck, then your wait will be fine

Ahh, I had not realized it was just for park closing early. I thought perhaps it has to do with NOJ. When I get a free minute (whenever that will be ), I need to search here to read up on NOJ, just so I know what it could potentially be like on that Saturday.

I think it is one I am going to have to check out when we get there. I know the UG recommends first thing or in the last hour of day. Perhaps we will have a bit of Disney magic on our side!

Well, the other thing I know we will definitely need to do ASAP is get in line to meet Tinker Bell! DD said she wants to meet the princesses, Minnie, Mickey and friends and the Fairies. I know the Fairy line can get INSANE so I want to get in line ASAP. At this point (I need to do more research on this too ) I think they are going to be in Pixie Hollow still in September. I know I want to be at the entrance to TT by 9:45 at the latest, since they will open it up early a lot of the days. We will dash off to do the Meet and Greets. I think we should be able to get Dumbo done before then without issue, but I thought since it is the one ride she is adamant about riding, I would try that first night.

With my current phone acting so funky, I am not going to download Lines. When I can upgrade my phone in March, I will be moving to a different one so I am sure we will have Lines for our May trip.

Thanks Julie! I know it is a gamble, but I think it might be one I am holding onto in the back of my mind. We will have another chance on her birthday, Tuesday the 14th. With MNSSHP happening that evening, it might be a slower morning there anyways but as I mentioned before, my main objective for that morning, is to meet the Fairies.

It is Michelle! She is outgrowing things very quickly this summer. Thank you--I am so glad the dress is fitting well. I think I am going to make a little slip to put under it though still.
