Now that you have indulged me in letting me put up a few pictures from Lilian’s party, let’s move onto the countdown…

5. DIS Meets!!!

I am really looking forward to meeting a few DIS friends throughout our stay. I will get to meet Sophia and her DH Joe at MNSSHP and Kathy on Saturday morning, before we leave. I will be missing Mary by just a few hours. Next time hopefully!! I do not have any good pictures to post this time, so I will just leave at I hope to come home with pictures to have of my meeting with these amazing ladies!

The video I am posting today is actually the trailer for Tangled, the new Disney movie coming out in theaters on November 24th. I am looking forward to going to it. Lilian got one of the Rapunzel dolls today at her party so she is all intrigued by it. I really wish Rapunzel would be out in Magic Kingdom, but I do not believe she is going to be yet.

A fun question for us all to answer: Who is your favorite Disney character? Mine are: Belle (princess), Mulan (animated character-at-large) and Mary Poppins (non-animated character). Tinker Bell is right up there for me too. It is so hard to pick just one!!

We had a great time at Lilian's party today! I think Chuck E Cheese worked out great! It would have been nice to get to the lake one last time this summer, but we always have next summer! The girls had a blast playing and the cake was YUMMY!! I can't wait to see more pictures, hint, hint, hint!!

Mike wanted me to say he's sorry he didn't come, but it was nice to sleep in, relax, watch bad movies and play xbox 360, which he hasn't been able to do in ages!

Thanks for the Tangled preview! I am soooooo excited to see it! I'll definitely be saving the Rapunzel dress for the movies!

I can't believe you guys are leaving in like 4 days! Woo Hoo!

Love the pics of Lillian's party and I love the treat bags and buckets. I know what you mean about the weather...it's been in the 60's the past 2 days.

My favorite character is Tinker Bell. She's just so darn cute and sassy!

Hard to believe, but I am counting down the last four things on my list!! I cannot believe it how quickly it is flying by.

4. Seeing New Resorts!! CSR, BC and GF!!

I have already posted about CSR since it is the resort that we are staying at but we also will get to visit Beach Club and Grand Floridian because of ADRs. There is also a good chance that I will get to see the Boardwalk because we may go to ESPN Club the first Saturday we are down at Disney to watch football games. If we are over there, than I am definitely going to pop in and look around.

Beach Club Pictures:

I am very drawn to this resort, so much so that we have a tentative fall trip booked at Beach Club, taking advantage of free dining, Food and Wine Festival and the 5k run. SAB just looks so amazing--looking forward to seeing it in person!

Grand Floridian pictures:

I remember seeing the episodes of Full House when they went down to Disney and the Grand Floridian resort. It seems so beautiful. I am really looking forward to seeing it twice, once at Park Fare and another time at the Afternoon Tea.

I really do want to take time to walk around all these resorts but of course, that is going to depend on how the rest of the family is doing but DH is interested in seeing them too. Lilian is pretty good about wanting to explore, so hopefully it is possible.

If you could stay anywhere on property, where would you stay? Which resort(s) is(are) your favorite(s)?

The video I have chosen for today is about Hidden Mickeys Does anyone like to search for Hidden Mickeys? Do you have the book or do you just prefer to find them on your own?

We had a great time at Lilian's party today! I think Chuck E Cheese worked out great! It would have been nice to get to the lake one last time this summer, but we always have next summer! The girls had a blast playing and the cake was YUMMY!! I can't wait to see more pictures, hint, hint, hint!!

Thanks Meghan! It was a good time. The weather was freaky--high 70s on Friday and then today is back in the 70s but yesterday was upper 50s/low 60s.

You do have lots of Dis meets planned. We are going to be so busy touring that I haven't set anything up but there are a few ladies I'll recognize if I bump into them.

It's hard for me to narrow down my favorite characters but off the top of my head I'm thinking Giselle. I LOVE that she was the one doing the rescuing at the end of the movie instead of the other way around. I think it's so great that the newer Disney movies have strong messages for little girls. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the classics but I always feel the need to say something like, "Well that's wierd, I wonder why she waited around for a BOY to save her instead of saving herself."

I also love Woody and teared up at the latest movie.

And I'm excited to see Tangled- it looks hilarious!!

If I could stay anywhere I'd stay at the Poly- I just love the beach pictures and it all seems so peaceful. I think I might be able to actually go to Hawaii for about the same price though so it's probably not going to happen any time soon.

I like the location of Boardwalk but the clown poolslide freaks me out.

My dream resorts are the BC/YC and the Poly. We have meals planned at both of them and I can't wait!

Madison has the Hidden Mickey book and LOVES it! We all had a lot of fun with it last June and I highly recommend it. While we'd be in line, we would look to see where we could find hidden mickey's on that particular attraction.

Love Lilian's party pics. You did a great job on the treat bags. I can't imagine 50/60 degree weather. It just started being the lower 90's & upper 80's here & that is feeling pretty cool to us!

My favorite princess is Cinderella. I love all classic movies the best. But, I think Mater from Cars is my favorite character.

The Poly is my dream resort. Maybe one day it will not be a dream!

We had a good time at Chuck E Cheese. Lilian did really well with him, so I am hopefully for the characters at Disney. Giselle is a great character. I agree with the latter movies having stronger female characters. I think it is a good thing too, definitely shows a shift in mentality.

I have done that in the past too. I loved Full House when I was younger and I remember really wanting to go to Disney when I was younger but my parents could not afford it.

I really want to visit Hawaii too but I am not as drawn to Poly for whatever reason--not sure why. Maybe that would change if I could see it in person.
