Hi Stephanie! I don't get to post too much anymore because I'm so busy, but wanted to pop in and say I am SO excited for you!!! I hope you have a wonderful time and Lilian has an extra magical birthday, not much longer now!
I saw that you were asking for favorites at Magic Kingdom, that's such a tough one! I guess just walking down Main St. first thing in the morning after seeing the Opening Ceremony and seeing the castle in the distance. I also love the singers and dancers on the trolley on Main St. as well, and Wishes makes me cry everytime, doesn't matter how many times I've seen it!

My favorite resorts are Wilderness Lodge and Beach Club, but I've never had a bad stay at any of the resorts, those themes just feel comfortable to me

Bit of exciting (to me) life news: I got a new sewing machine last night!! My last one broke and DH was kind enough to let me get a new one. It is snazzy! I get to go into the store I bought it at the end of the month for a class for an intensive learning session with my machine. They will help me learn to use it to the fullest!!

Now that I have shared that news with you, onward with the second to last thing on my countdown…

2. Seeing the Castle!!!!

Ever since we started talking about taking Lilian to Disney, I knew the Castle was going to be a big deal. Lilian loves seeing the Castle and is always pointing it out on Disney movie intros or whenever she sees it in a picture in a book or here on the DIS.

Here are two pictures of the Castle from our last trip:

I’m sure I will be taking a ton of photographs in general, but I am looking forward to hopefully exploring the Castle more hopefully. I don’t remember really seeing any of the beautiful tile mosaics even though we ate inside last time. : Hopefully it will be open for us to do so!!

It is funny how we remember certain things but not others. I remember getting goosebumps after coming up on Main Street for the first time.

I definitely wanted MK to be the first park we visit--it is what Disney World is to Lilian. I'm sure I will take a tone of pictures of it this go around.

Oh my goodness, 2 sleeps!! I just love the Castle. Makes the one at DL look dinky. It is so spectacular at night all lit up!!!
