1-bedroom with baby

We did this. It was not bad at all..the pull out was very comfortable and we weren't tired at all the next morning.

My youngest DS is such a light sleeper there would have been no way we could have walked into the room mid night w/o waking him up...regardless of how tired he was!

This is exactly our problem as well. Light doesn't bother our baby as much as noise does, so having her in the hallway or the bathtub isn't quite enough and sadly Jambo House doesn't have a closet to put her in or I'd happily do that!

El&Asmom - I agree with you about the cruise portion of our trip. I'm more worried about that as well, since there is only one room for all three of us.

Ahh well. Eventually she'll get tired enough and sleep sometime. *crossing fingers* Thanks for the suggestions!

Has baby flown from CA to FL, if you are going to worry I would start there. ;)

You survive that, the sleeping will be a piece of cake. Have a great trip. And do not give up the Master, they learn early who is in control. :thumbsup2

You can request a full size crib as well, not a pack n' play. Also, just to reassure you...stayed at BLT with our 4 children, ages 6,5, 3, and 1 (and the in-laws) in a 2 bedroom and everyone slept until 8 am if not later. We kept our 1 year old in the master with us and our other 3 children slept in the den on the pull-out couch and sleeper chair/bed. We do take noise machines. We sat at the kitchen table and enjoyed wine and conversation with the in-laws while our older 3 slept a few feet away. Amazing how kids can sleep at Disney! You can do it! Don't stress :)

No flames please- we have used the pack-n-play in the walk-in closets at BWV, VWL, BCV, and OKW to accomodate grandkids who needed the darker room with a bit more quiet. It works out well.

I dont even have very young kids and I second this. My kids felt it was "fun" and they had private rooms. They even fought one night over who got the closet!! They dont fit in a pnp so used cushions from the couch and we had small extra throws from home

kid goes in the LR you have a tv and bathroom and usually access to the balcony what more do you need?

if memory serves the internet access is also there and if you need snacks learn how to sneak to the kitchen

dont give up the jacuzzi and the big bed..heck with that! :scared1:

I didn't sleep on one but did lay down on it when putting my older DD to bed. She wasn't happy and I definitely saw her point. I was glad it was her having to sleep there. But different people like different beds.

Anyway, I'm sure the OP will find a solution that will work. Looks like you have 2 choices at AKL, putting baby in the Master bedroom or the living room.

Do all one bedrooms have a laundry room? At OKW, there was a laundry room which was where we put the pack and play which worked perfectly for us.

There is only a small closet for the W/D at AKV and the bathroom is not divided as some are at other resorts.... (this is the 1 bedroom plan for Jambo)

We are in a similar situation.

Going in March and DD2 will be 5 months. BTW, DD1 is also Lily!

We are going to rent a full size crib.

A Babies Best Friend

While I have not used them yet, I have only read go things about them.

We are staying at BLT also. Plan is to put her in the master bedroom with us. Going to bring the ipod and just put music on. She is pretty good about noise since she has a NOISY older sister. :rotfl:

AHH HAAA!! I see the solution here!

We need the Grand Villa! We'll put her down at the bedroom at one end and we'll take the bedroom at the other end. Problem solved! :rotfl:

I love the name Lillian. :)

I'm thinking about renting the full size crib. I'm just a little worried about putting it together. We're only going to be at AKV for 2 nights, so if I can get Lil to sleep in the PnP (trying it at home first), it would be so much easier.

I rented a swing and a stroller from A Babies Best Friend during our last trip to WDW when Lil was just 4 months old. They were awesome. :woohoo:
