Move out of my white trailer trash home and buy a million dollar home in Lincoln City Oregon after buying several half million homes in Yuma and then start building the homeless mansion complex here in Yuma and transition housing for teens leaving foster care..... you see...my nose doesn't grow
I would retire pretty quickly. Then sell my house and move to SoCal because NOW I COULD AFFORD A HOME there. Then I'd just enjoy it. I'd probably move my parents with me. Then I give some money to those in my family so they could be more comfortable.
I'd like to open a sanctuary for senior dogs and cats who have lost their homes and need a place to comfortably live out their lives.
I bought some tickets. It was worth it just to give myself dreaming time.
I'd pay off our mortgage, and go on a real estate spree. Houses for both kids and their families (realistic for their current income, though), and one for my mother down here in Florida. Probably one for my brother and his family in Nebraska.
Then travel. Wherever strikes our fancy. Gifts to our church and other causes.
Always thought I'd buy a townhome in gated neighborhood behind Magic Kingdom with firework views. Vacation home. And set aside a trust to pay COA fees, taxes, insurance and utilities for my kids & grands for a long time. But Florida isn't a good investment right now ......... and that much cash could pay for LOTS of sweet hotel nights. So likely one of several trusts that I'd set up would be the FAMILY DISNEY TRUST.
I love watching My Lottery Dream Home. Most of them are about that sweet spot, and it's fun to see how it's changed their lives and the lives of their family.
