We're expecting a major winter storm in Michigan beginning at 7pm tonight through tomorrow. BUT, I can imagine sunny and warm skies in my future and can listen to Buffet music, think sun, sand and warmth to blot out the inches of snow.

Jan and Jennifer - we are just across the river near Sarnia - getting ready for the storm - sure makes January 10 look further away. My daughter Emma is hoping for a snow day - I don't think she will be that hopeful when we fly out.

Is it me or does it seem this year we are having bad weather on Tuesday and Thursday's. Since I am driving to port, I may have to leave cold, dreary Iowa on Monday and enjoy the Florida sun more than I had planned.

We are in Sarnia almost every year for an annual family reunion at Canatera Park. A Sarnia cousin rents the pavilion nearest the beach. Family name is Hyatt.

Wiseman - we're driving too. We'll be leaving on the 6th (unless there's a major storm. If so, we'll leave earlier.) When are you starting your trip down?

Don and Jan - We're getting ready for that same storm. We're expecting 6 - 10 inches and some of it will be ice. Ugh.

UPS man was just here delivering a Christmas present - and NOT the documents. Tell me - what's in the documents? I feel like I filled out SO much on line. I just can't imagine there being much more!! LOL

UPS delivered our docs today also.

For those that are wondering, the docs are pretty much the luggage tags. If you bought air and/or transfers they are there also.

We are driving from the Atlanta area on the 8th and spending the 9th at Epcot.

I feel sorry for those of you with snow. It was in the 70's today.

I believe that the quicker I get to Florida, the quicker my vacation starts!

I plan on leaving after dark on 7 Jan, this way my young ones will sleep most of the car trip down. We have 3 adults, so we have plenty of drivers to make it through the night. If my DC are not sleeping, I will be showing movies on my laptop piped through the van speakers. I copied a lot of Disney movies onto my laptop so I wouldn't have to fuss with discs. I thought that might put them in the mood.


The problem I have now is I have not decided where I want to stay. I stayed in Melbourne for my first cruise. Nice zoo there, will never again go to NASA. TOO EXPENSIVE.
