Peacekeeper - I just wanted to let you know that someone responded to my post on the general cruise board and they said that they think that is a mistake in the Passporter - that you can add a certain amount of money to your kids' KTTW cards. She's cruising in 10 days and will let me know if it's true when she gets back. I'll pass along whatever I find out!

I just read the list to my kids and they are SOOOO excited!!! The only one we've seen is HSM3. So, this will save us money!! Gee - can I use that as an excuse to take another cruise- "Honey it'll save us money on movies!!"

Have any of you previous cruisers used lanyards for your keys? I don't want to wear a fanny pack. I also don't want to carry a purse. I think they might be more convenient for my kids too - so the KTTW won't fall out of their pockets. Are there any out there that would fit a small camera?

When we went on the crappy carnvial cruise from hell, I took Meg's key card thingy and punched a hole in the corner, then attached it to a lanyard. She couldn't lose it that way. . I hate wearing things around my neck, so it might be in my pocket or belt pack most of the time.

That's exactly what we did with our cards for my DD then 7. Punch a hole through the card so you didn't have to mess with the plastic case. I don't wear things around my neck, not even the dog tags I'm supposed too, either. But, truthfully, when you where something around your neck you forget it is there until your little ones give it a tug.

You can loop the lanyard through your belt or belt loop too, to keep it attached to yourself.

My DW allows me to carry the card. When items need to be paid for, she just looks to me. I carry mine in the front pocket.

If you want a lanyard to use, look me up. I will give you mine. We have a number of the CC club ones in our bags.

I'm LOL about your wife "letting" you carry the card!!! I'd much prefer my dh carry it too - he just uses his pockets for everything as well. Women's shorts/skirts just don't have those nice big pockets!

I'd love to try out a lanyard if you don't mind! I'll definately be looking for you! LOL Thanks so much!

I'll have a couple extra lanyards, too. I'll bring them to the DIS meet on Saturday. The DVC landyards are made of much nicer material than DCL's and are easier to handle around the neck.

We have lanyards from Disneyland annual passports, could we use those? Also do we need to pack a hole punch or is this something DCL does for you?

Also- has anyone gotten their documents yet? I called and got assigned to a specific time slot within the "late seating" window. Is there anyone else who is 8:00 dinner? WE ARE SO EXCITED!

Duhhh.....I was actually upgraded from a 12 to a 9....didn't realize deck 1 was a cat 9 oceanview.....I guess I feel a little better but not sure about the deck 1 thing......anyone ever sail on deck 1????

We sailed on deck 1. The windows are port holes. Our grandchildren loved them. My husband would say, " We'er going to the Big Black Hole!" Also has the two bathrooms. You eill be happy.

I asked my TA to switch my dining to late...I didn't realize they gave me main dining....I'm sure it won't be a problem, it seems most people want early....I would really like the 8:00 slot too!!!!

Hey everyone. Getting real excited now. We were going to drive down and now we have decided to fly. Anyone know a good company to use to get from Orlando to the Port?

I don't know about from Orlando but we are flying into Daytona and got a one way rental car from National for $43 dollars. They have a turn in right at Disney's terminal. It was way cheaper than a shuttle. They even let us use the coupon from our Happenings Book.

Also, I am so happy to see others who want the 8:00 seating. More time to hang out with you nice people!
