$1.00 Movies at AMC THEATRES This summer

Perhaps this is a great way to do some PRE-DISNEY Vacation activities! AMC Theatres across North America (U.S. AND Canada) are offering $1.00 Admission for children and adults on Wednesday mornings throughout the summer! (June 17th - August 5th) All proceeds from admission and concession stand purchases are being donated to Children's Charities. All the movies being shown seem to be Disney and Pixar ones! Check it out!

Looks like the ones near me are but one I won't step foot in and the other is too far to drive to on a regular basis. It's nice they are doing it though.

For those without a participating amc nearby check your other local theaters for summer programs. Great Escape is doing free movies all summer on tuesdays, wed. and thurs. mornings at 9:30 near me. Not sure if it's nationwide.

Wehrenberg theatres in the st louis area have the family summer series, every wednesday and thursday starting june 3rd. It is FREE!!! Two showings per day, one at ten and one at noon.

Thank you so much! The closest one to us is an hour away, but seeing that other people said their local theaters did it I decided to check ours. Yep - free movies every Tuesday morning!! They're all old ones, but an air conditioned spot with popcorn - we'll take it!

None of the ones I saw listed were Disney or Pixar Movies.

We don't have one of these close by, ours are all Carmike.

None near me but we enjoy their free ones each summer. They are old movies and they seem to repeat each summer but hey it's free and something the kids enjoy! Although I'm not looking forward to sitting through the VeggieTales movie again this summer Ugh!

The AMC near me isn't participating but if you have a Goodrich Quality Theater near you, they have a similar deal going on ~ we'll be hitting that one every week!

We don't have an AMC theater close but I checked and Cinemark does this, too, at 10 am two days per week in the summer. You can even get a punch card for $5.00 for the whole summer. Here's the link:

there are several in our area, but we won't be doing this. When our theaters have a special like this during the summer it is all filled with daycare and camp kids. There usually not very well supervised either.

Anyone that joins Loews AMC FREE movie card sign up gets FREE popcorn EACH wednesday. SImple to sign up on line, and as you accumulate points they give you FREE stuff, we have gotten and used TONS of free popcorn, sodas and tickets too (got 2 cards as we have more than 2 people and you only get credit for 2 on each visit) TOTALLY worth it!!

Very true. Though I've found the different theaters have different sorts of groups. Though that doesn't help with the AMC thing, b/c there's just on in my area, but the free Regal theater, for some reason, really draws the group crowds.
