Yes Mary ... I did ask her what shirts she wanted me to bring! If I forget them or bring the wrong ones, 4000 miles is a LONG way to go back for something. Besides, tell me what husband out there has NOT checked with his wife JUST to keep HER happy?

Personally, I think my bride has taken up where my mother left off ~ Mum always accused me of being "an orphan" cause if I were HER kid I sure wouldn't get out of the house dressed the way I did ~ Probably why I developed wandering ways ....

Anyhow, If I had my way it would be shorts & sweatshirts always BUT NO, I have one of those shirts & tie (politically correct dress) kind of jobs. Military leadership has some weird expectations!!

Okay ... this time 5 days from now EST, I will be in Atlanta!!!
Will be NO snow before I leave Alaska - Heat wave continues at a blistering 45-50 degrees ... I'm going to be in the pool all the time

This is such a great thing--to be able to hear from other folks who are in the same planning stages.

Beth, I have also been very excited about the cruise, but also in a bit of a funk. No real reason. You really made me feel better when I read that you were feeling the same way. I can't tell if it is because there are so many things that need to be done before we actually leave. Or maybe it's our weather--but I'm really happy that it's rainy. I wouldn't mind more rain and less dreariness, though. If it's going to be cloudy, it would sure help if more water came down! (see, I just read that last bit--what a crabby person I am today)

To the Penn State fans: I may have lived in Pennsylvania most of my life, but I was born and brought up on Big Red. Poor Nebraska--did I miss it, or was there ANY defense in that game?

Is everyone planning to wear their shirts with logo on Saturday? I always travel to WDW with a lime green ribbon on my fanny pack, but it will be easier to find each other if we are wearing matching shirts.

Wishing everyone a great day--two weeks from now we'll be getting ready for brunch. Yummy, yummy!

I spoke with the TA from h*** and was told that my docs would "hopefully" mailed by Wednesday. I will never use these folks again, ever. They are terrible.

Disney could not help whatsoever. They will not give me my reservation number and was told I could pick up generic documents at the pier. Not the answer I wanted.

Never again will I use uloose.com.

You guys must be busy, busy, busy...........the posting is getting slower and sparser! Hello to all, it is getting shorter and shorter til we meet!!!

I "need" to go shopping!!!! I have one formal dress but no just dressy dress for the ship. Guess I will head to Dothan or Montgomery in the next couple of days.

Vonda: Here's hoping you get your doc's by Wednesday. I wouldn't use that outfit again either. They should give you a huge discount for stressing you out. I can have my friend Kathy, in Germany, call and debate the issue with them. Let me know if you need her help. She is amazing!!!!

Mike: Dennis does not need any new techi gadgets. He is bringing the laptop, which can only be used to download the cameras. NO WORK will be conducted on the cruise. The man is a workaholic..........I have been trying to teach him for years how to let it go and go play. The only thing he has learned to play is golf!!!! LOL.

Mary: Thanks for all the wonderful updates you do. Where would we be if you didn't do them???? LOST!!!

I am so looking forward to this cruise. Need the time to do absolutely nothing if that is what I want to do. When you are at home there is always some little thing that has to be done....no rest for the wicked. So, cruises are where the wicked have to go to rest!!!! Whatcha think???

It was a busy weekend and didn't get on the web at all. So it took me a while to catch up.

Elaine - Hope your Dad does ok with the surgery tomorrow. I had a double by-pass 3 years ago and I am doing fine. It just takes a little time to get back into stride after major surgery.

Welcome to Suey70 and any other newcomer I could have missed.

Well we put the iron-ons on the Shirts this week end. It is really getting close.

Vonda ... Does your travel agent know how many DIS friends you have that can gang up on him/her? Remember to send a little note to the Better Business Bureau in your area when you get back from the cruise, letting them know all the problems you had with your TA.

Beth & Karen ... Nice to know that I'm not the only one in a funk. Is it that we are so scared we will forget something or have we put a little too much on our plate!

George-The Sorcerer ... I saw that news clip about the freak accident. Sorry to hear it was your friend.

Karen ... My condolences about the Nebraska / PSU game. Been there, done that ... the last two years as a PSU fan have been hard.

Mike & George ... To say we were thrilled with the PSU win would be an BIG understatement. I got Art a Nittany Lion statue for our front lawn for our 25th Anniv...does that tell you something!

Gotta get a wigggle on and get the last of the name tags done for the newbies ..... OPS. Welcome All! I get the name info from Mary's list, so make sure you have given her your info.

Elaine--you and your family will be in my thoughts tomorrow. My dad had heart surgery many years ago--so long ago that he had to go to the medical center in Houston, so few doctors were qualified. Now this is so routine--I can name about twenty people I know well who have had it and are now fine. When you have a chance, let us know how he's doing.

Rae--am I noticing more posts from you now that Michael is away at school?

My funk is continuing and I think I've passed it on to Ed. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day for everyone.

Hello Everyone,
Today has been a busy day, I have been running around for last minute things, especially for my three year old (have to keep her entertained on the trip)
Elaine, I hope everything goes well with your Grandfather tommorow. You will be in our prayers.

I have slowly read some of the posts from the beginning. I can't believe you all have been posting for over a year. That is wonderful. We booked our cruise in June of this year. First, were thinking of going to Beaches Resort, then it changed to RCL, and finally we decided on DCL. I am a Disney nut, and my husband has become one over the years, but he won't admit to it. LOL My daughter was born one because of me. We go to WDW almost twice every year. This year we haven't for the first time. So we decided on this cruise. We still have annual passes for WDW but they expire in November. I can't wait for this, I have been brainwashing my DD for over two months now. She is so excited. She wants to see the Dolphins in Cozumel, but I don't know what to do because I heard the Dolphin Swim is far more superior than the Encounter, but the for the swim you have to be over 8 years old. We are still not sure what we are going to do. Who knows it might already be booked up. If I reserve, I will go directly to Dolphin Discovery.com since it is less money

Anyway, I have been writting up a storm......

Rae, I read your daughter memorial. She is a beautiful little girl. I am so sorry you had to go through that tragic accident. It makes me really think about how short life is & how we have to live it to our fullest. Loving your family is very important.

Suzanne...you said you are at the Comfort Inn on Friday. Is this the one in Port Canaveral?Are you planning on getting to the port early?Maybe you could come by the Radisson on Friday evening.

We have desided to leave Charleston very early on Friday morning and plan to be at the Radisson by lunch time,so the kids can swim for awhile. The kids do not know. They think we they are going to school on Friday. We are going to pack up the car after they are in bed, then wake them up early and surprise them!

NASCAR fans...Mark Martin is now in the points lead!!!!YIPEE!I will have to find someplace for DH to watch the race while we are in Key West.

I have a plan worked out for the Palo's Brunch, with a back-up plan if things don't work the way we expect them to. But I'm way too tired to type it all out tonight. Have been watching the bill fish pier cams, A note to parents, do not let the kids watch the sloppy joe cam. It contains material of a mature nature when they are performing.

Mary hope that you are on the road to recovery. Kathy and I are driving down on the 26th and spending the night in Kissimmee. We will go to the parks on the 27th and drive over that afternoon to the radisson. We plan on doing the parks on the 5th and 6th. Mike

Thru my roughest day of the week! Only three work days left for me!!! LONG plane ride from ANC>>ATL with a FIVE HOUR layover in SLC! Leave home (Anchorage) at 0430 and won't get to ATL until 1130pm!!! Friday is going to be a LONG day ~ Boy but I am looking forward to it!!! Maybe the plane will not be full? HOPE!!!

Last time it was the TITANS ~ Great movie! Don't believe that I have to been to a movie in months now ...

Sue, we booked with a really neat dolphin outfit. they were on the animal planet. they have a pod of wild dolphins they go out to and only take six people at a time. Kind of like a geen peace thing. I have the web site if you are interested. email me at eshannon@ctcweb.net.
they would take your little girl also. It sounds brilliant. Once you look at their web page you would understand it more.


Another busy day tomorrow. Will spend most of it at the hospital with my mom.
Guess we will be bringing the laptop along with the camera. Have been playing with it alot. Got some reallygood shots. I love the littel printer we bought to go with it. Prints nice pictures. Don't think I will carry it though.
