No docs here yet either but since we are heavily de-junking in preparation of selling our house we don't want them until one week before I leave. I'm so busy throwing out everything that I might mistake them and toss them . That would be sad. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Five more to go!

Tiiiigergirl! You are really busy, aren't you?! I remember all the moves we have made in the past - last one was 1998 - or was it 1999?! Long enough to have forgotten but short enough to know that I don't want to do it again!

We are DVC members also. I agree with Gil and Vickie, best money we ever spent. We bought at the Boardwalk, but sice moving from Fl to SC we have used points for DCL and HH. This year we split...points for DH and I and cash for the kids. I guess there will be a bunch of us at the DVC party!

Hello to Susan D!!! My sisiter lives in Portland Or and was just here for a family reunion. She is hosting the next reunion in Portland. I am looking forward to visiting the Northwest. I spent two summers in Ft. Lewis Washington as a kid and really loved it. I also want my kids to see the "real" mountains!

Seems like there are alot of us DVC members. It is my understanding that even if we didn't book with DVC points you are still invited to the DVC reception. Is that correct?

I agree it has been money well spent. I am almost tempted to by more points. Keep checking the timeshare resales.

We have decided to keep our 2/9 Wonder ressie and not go on the DVC member cruise. Norm really wants to do the Daytona 125's on our return. I realize the members cruise is to be special, but actually I think that this one is already so special with so many nice people that it would be hard to top this cruise.

Anyone notice the new thread that the new dining times are to continue through our cruise. So they say. Should we each try calling to find out the times and see how many different answers we get?

Raindrops are falling from the sky. It isn't pouring, but at least he is some rain.

This is the weekend to move the boys off to college. Need to get DS #2 moving on packing up his stuff, DS#1 has had his bags packed for days. Guess he is really anxious to get back and with his friends.

Hello, Glad to see you are all DVC members. WE have decided to look into it when we are on the cruise. that is if they have somewhere to do that. I did send for an information kit but haven't heard back form anyone yet.

DH's truck died tonight so we have been our looking at little "get around" cars. I think we have decided on the Toyota PRius. It is an electric/ gas hybrid car. Anyone seenthem or have one? They are pretty neat! Great gas mileage.

I did see the post about the dining times. have been trying to see if they have also adjusted the activities.

Have returned from an abysmal conference that ended with a disastrous meeting ~ As soon as I finish my laundry, I am going to start packing for this trip. REALLY feel the NEED at the moment
Really beginning to miss my "honey" too. I BE READY!!!!

Have managed to get some Alaska pins for the kids ~ Now, if I can only remember where I put them for safe keeping!!!
- Only been gone a week!!! - SENIOR MOMENT!!!
Looks like I have to get to Fairbanks next week, maybe Honolulu & Seattle again before I depart Alaska for the DEEP SOUTH. It is going to be a VERY busy month. How will I get my Rainbow Trout fishing in if the BOSS expects me to do all this work?!?!

Must straighten out his priorities!!!

Just wanted to say "hey!" We are sooooooo excited about sailing on 9/28. Anyone else out there sailing with toddlers? It will be DH, DS7, DD4, DD2, and DD1 (and me too!) on this trip. We are especially excited about Cozumel. Thanks for all the great information on this board!!!

This is Shirley from The Perfect gift and most of all an ol' conch from Key West - I have a question and if each would be so kind to write me at snelsonbrown@aol.com -- I would sincerely appreciate it for the following questions or post it here and I will keep checking for the answers.
I will not go into details at this moment for why I need this information, but I need to know a few things - first off at about what time does the Magic get into key west on the 29th of september? also how many will be on deck when it is coming into port? Are you staying aboard or staying on the ship?
I will we in Key west at this time and trying to plan something special for this cruise - until i know it is for sure, I do not want to make any promises except I will be having special homemade REAL Key Lime pies for a few I hope to meet up with -
I am really looking forward to seeing each of you - not too much longer to go

Welcome JellyMoon and Family!!!Yipeee, our group continues to GROW!No toddlers in my family (mine are 8 and 10) but I belive we have a few 4 y/o. Are you doing any excurstions?

Hi Shirley! The ship gets into port at noon. We plan on getting off the ship and doing some sightseeing. The CruisEARS number about 80 as of today, but we have been adding about 2 families a week latley. I'm not sure how many will be getting off the ship.

Welcome Jellymoon and family. Shirley the magic arrives in Key West from about 11:30 to 12. Kathy and I are getting off with Art and Cathy and are planning on seeing the sights.

Central air conditioner is ok so dodged a bullet on that one. If we were to have to replace it that is about 3200 bucks ball park figure

If there is a general meeting place let us know. I seem to remember something but don't want to go back through all those posts

Have started a small notebook with info, coupons I have printed out etc. I will put the Key West stuff in there too.

Another busy weekend in the Shannon HOusehold. Trying to get house ready for Uncle from Englands visit. Also trying to get kids scrapbooks caught up.

So Excited about the cruise. Keep looking at all the docs and info that came with them.

Alaska Weather Report - Sunshine, partly cloudy, 60-65. Most excellent for golf, fishing, or whatever Good Lord wants me to do.

No news from Alabama but I hear there has been a positive spike in the London economy . Of course, I will get something neat for Christmas!!! Along with that nice new flytying tool box that I absolutely positively cannot live without!!!

Rellingtwin ~ Update please ... Plan A for Brunch? Do I need to jump in line? Pay $ to someone? Show up ready to eat?
Your efforts on this Cruise entitle you to beatification at least!!!
Still need to confirm Chrystina has closed the loop with Grand Cayman Cpt Marvin's trip. But you are probably right....

Wow, this is the first time I have remembered to look at the cams. I saw the Magic go by. It was a real thrill. Am I a disney freak or what? My daughter says the first applies. HOw is it possible that I have four children and only one is as addicted to disney as me? The husband is getting there.

Elaine...I missed the Magic today. I have seen her before and yell to my family "COME QUICK"!! They think I have lost it!LOL!Maybe we can meet up and head to Mallory Square together on Sunday?

Jul...how did you like "HOTLANTA"?While you were gone we racked up a few more cruisers I am still hoping we hit the 100 mark!!!

I am now keeping my fingers crossed the shuttle launch is pushed back a few more days. I still have my reservations for the Radisson for the day we get back. It would be a nice way to end the trip.

Mike...glad the AC is OK. I had to replace ours this year! Thanks to my Father-in-law (who is a retired AC installer) I was able to get a unit at contractors price

When are we going to do a Cruise chat???????
