We are home. We had a wonderful time......for about the first 4 hours. Then Mutt somehow managed to lose his Park Hopper ticket. Can you believe that DISNEY has NO leniency on this! Disney offerered a free $10 ESPN card with a park hopper ticket. When mutt pulled out his ESPN card the Park hopper fell out with it, we are guessing. We had just left ESPN which is a short walk to the Monorail, I'm talking 2 minutes here.......and well it was gone. We searched all over ESPN, we went to the lost and found etc. etc. etc. They were able to issue me an exceptions pass for the rest of the day, because our hands were stamped so obviously we had been in the park, but, they all just shook there heads and said we'd have to pay to replace it. I had all the paperwork, receipts etc......for everything. But it just didn't matter.
Other than that the trip was fantastic. It went as smooth as could be. When we got to LAX our luggage was number 1 and 5 off the plane. Called the shuttle and they were already on their way. I think we spent a total of 5 minutes at LAX. We spent a total of 4 days at the parks. Weekends were crowded, but Monday and Tuesday were quite a bit slower.
AND THE GREEN FAMILY GOT TO BE IN THE PARADE!
the three of us got to wear TuTus and dance with Baloo and King Louie the duration of the parade. Let me tell you it wasn't easy work either. Considering we had about 5 minutes to learn a dance routine after we were selected and put on the double decker bus while the selected our fellow participants.......... The downfall of this.......we had no one to take pictures of us.....sniff.......sniff.......sniff. I would have loved to have pictures of it. But, we got a Disney Guest performer pin when we were finished. It was loads of fun. Baloo was quite the character. We got to one section of the parade route and there were no people on either side of us, we looked back and there was Baloo leaning against a wall just watching us and laughing.
Overall- a very good trip. I was amazed at how much Disney had changed.......and I learned a couple of valuable lessons. If you tell your friends that the best place to go is the Candy Cane....you shouldn't go someplace else...

Although the West Coast Anaheim was a nice place to stay, we just weren't overly impressed. I wanted to kick myself in the behind every morning as we walked by the Candy Cane.
talk to you all soon..........I start nights tonight.
smiles Patty
