Good morning everyone. Happy Monday!

I thought of a fun challenge that might get some of the lurkers to post. So here's my challenge to everyone.

1) if you are a previous cruiser especially on a Member Cruise what are your favorite memories (maybe one per cruise)

2) if you are a brand new cruiser or a previous cruiser going on your first Member Cruise what questions do you have or what are you looking forward to based on others comments.

So all you lurkers come on and check in. Same for you regulars. :)

We have done 3 member cruises. All my memories tend to jumble together. What I like is the Rainforest Room after a day at CC. The special entertainment and speakers. Brunch at Palo. Meeting up with our Dis friends from all over and meeting new friends. Talking Amanda out of purchasing more points!

We have only been on one member cruise.

My favorite memories are meeting all these nice disney holics like us.

Richard Sherman and the three Broadway ladies were my favorite shows.

The weather was fabulous so if there wasn't something going on we were in the pool and castaway cay was great.

You would think we would be chattier with the 90 resservations coming up. But I guess there is not much to book since we don't have any port days.

This will be our 5th Member Cruise so I have a number of memories:

2003 - the raising of the DVC flag and the words "we're taking over the ship". That was such fun and led to one of my tags here on the DIS.

2005 - getting invited to Palo and the private dining room with Jim Lewis and the WDW Ambassador and their wives. Magical.

2006 - Mark winning the II trade at the end of the "On The Nose" presentation. Especially since I wanted to leave before it was over. :lmao:

2007 - Richard Sherman's evening performance. There were many highlights of this trip but this stood out to me above all the rest.

I'm really looking forward to this years cruise. First to be back on the beautiful Disney Wonder and second because I know that DVC will do it up right (even if they aren't very forthcoming at the moment). :) Of course there is also the getting to meet our wonderful fellow DISers and DVCers...that has been a constant since the very first cruise.

Well, almost 9am est. Maybe most people are working. In fact I have to go get ready in just a few minutes!

I can't deceide if we want to do Palo or not. It would be great to know what is in store that way we could schedule everything.

True but there is a lot to do on Castaway Cay. I can only hope it is as beautiful and clear there in September as it was when we were there the end of April. It was perfect beach weather.

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

This upcoming Member Cruise will be our 2nd cruise ever, our first was last years Member Cruise.

My favorite was really spending a relaxing time with my family and seeing all the Disney Legends. One of the neatest things was seeing my kids anxious to get back to the stateroom to see what was left for us that day and what towel animal they would get.

Just back from the Doctor. no more fluid on my lungs so the pneumonia is gone. Still got to get the sinus infection under control, but that will come with time.

Good news Robin. Now rest up and get rid of that sinus infection!

Robin - glad to hear the good report!

Is online check-in this weekend for everyone? Even those of us newbies or do we have to wait to check in like we do for ressies?

First-time member cruisers and Disney cruisers, but veteran cruisers - we are looking forward to learning our way around the Wonder, comparing her to the other ships we have sailed (we've been told we'll be spoiled after this cruise and not want to sail any other line), seeing what wonderful things they have in store for members, finding out just how good a deal they make more points for member cruisers, going to CC and exploring it, oh - just everything!!!!! And tikimack can't wait to see if we need to get pirate regalia for real. He is ready to shop for it!

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

Mimi - check in on Sunday is for Castaway Club members only (those who have sailed Disney before).

Check-in for first time cruisers is at the 75 day mark which is July 8th.

:love:Happy Anniversary Marylyn (Icydog) and Bob!

Good morning all,

My last day of work. Too much to do. Scott spent last night trying to convince me how safe Austraila and New Zeleand are. I am so worrired about his trip. But oh well he is a big boy. It's just so far away.

have a nice Tuesday.

Joanne - what will Scott be doing over there that has your worried? We'd love to go to Austrailia. Even looked at the ABD for it but it was way too much $$$$ for us.

He is ging to New Zeleand by himself since his friend is in school. he has himself booked in a hostil(sp). he has bookd himself on a Lord of the rings tour and a cave sailin tour. I guess him being alone bothers me and not being able to call him. We gave him an international calling card so he better use it.

I guess I just have to realize he will be fine.

Ahhhh - I can see the alone thing being a worry. The Lord of the Rings tour sounds awesome. I'm sure he'll have a great time and I hope he calls to ease your mind.

This will be our third cruise on the Wonder, and our 2nd members cruise. Our favorite memories (besides being on the Wonder in October of 04 & 07 when the Red Sox won both World Series... GO SOX!) was seeing and listening to the "Legends of Disney". We had an absolutely incredible cruise!!
