Hello, everyone!

Back from my two week Caribbean cruise. The trip was great. We went to 9 different islands, but I must admit, I am glad to be home. The Crown Princess is a beautiful ship on the inside, but from the outside, it just looks like a great big box. As my sister said, it didn't take our breath away when we first saw it like the Magic has in the past.
One interesting Disney note: On the way back from San Juan, we had a celebrity in the front cabin of the plane--Buzz Aldrin!!! (For the young'uns, he was the second man to walk on the moon.) He was wearing a jacket with a mission patch on it. I thought it would be Apollo 11 since that was his historic flight. Instead, the patch was for, get this, MISSION SPACE! What a surprise.
Looking forward to keeping in touch with you all.
It was a nice surprise to come home and find my travel pack from DCL waiting.

Hi everyone! I skimmed the posts quickly! Congrats to Dan and Nancy for 41 yrs of marriage! Welcome back Mark and Mary! I know there is more, but I cant remember. Things have been hectic...Got back late Sunday from Myrtle Beach, and worked and worked and worked...Still working...Then tomorrow I head to Disney for the weekend! Just trying to make it to 8 tonight here at work...Then vacation mode can set in! Hope everyone has a great weekend! See ya all soon!

That is too funny, I guess every one loves disney. I am glad you had a nice trip. You will have to show us somepictures.

Just a quick check-in, sorry I've been MIA, but busy for the PC Cruise. I leave for Florida first thing Friday morning, and there is a large group from the disboards going.

Got 79 people coming to the scrapbook class and about 125 staterooms that I've been compiling the mini-nav for.

Can't wait for a much calmer thread after the PC one!

I'll try to post from the ship, and I'm going to do a blog, but haven't set up yet. I'll try to remember to post a link when I get it done. (hopefully sooner than later)

Hi everyone, My name is Amanda and I've been a DVC member since Dec 2004 at Saratoga Springs. I am currently a traveling nurse and have been working in Orlando since January. Of course while I was in Disney vicinity, I figured it would be fun to work at WDW! I currently work at the World of Disney store part time. While at work yesterday I talked with a guest and fellow DVC member who pointed me in the direction of this website. I went on the DVC member cruise last year, and had so much fun I rebooked for this year and am bringing my mom along! I figured I would join up with this group to meet and make some new friends before launch date! So Howdy y'all and I'm looking forward to "meeting" with you!

I'm not going on the Member Cruise (much to WDWLVR's dismay) but I thought I'd check in here after Mary gave me the heads up that you posted!
