Cape May is fine with us. A day of hanging at the pool will be wonderful. I just hope the weather cooperates. I won't mention the H word but Sept is hurricane season!!

Good morning everybody. Well as I said last night it was going to snow today. As I set here looking out the window it is snowing. Weather man says we will get about 6 inches of heavy wet Spring Snow. Enough is enough.

We had lots of heavy wet snow yesterday. Big fat wet flakes. Thankfully this morning it is still on the grass but not really on the streets/sidewalks. I think we only got an inch or so.

I personally know about lost rings!! Last year on the members cruise while snorkeling on CC I lost my wedding ring, would love to know how many rings are down there or if I'm the only fool to swim with my ring. LOL

I swim with my wedding ring on but take all the others off. I hear that the baracuda likes shiney things to I don't want to tempt him.

I snorkle with my rings on, but they are not loose. Before I had them taken in I would take them off so I wouldn't lose them. Yes you can lose weight in your fingers. I can't get it off my thighs but my fingers are skinny!!!!

We has some wonderful news yesterday. Oy youngest was awarded a ROTC scholarship. So for his next two years at FSU they will pay his tuition and books. It's not a lot but anything helps. It's the room and board that kills ya. But we are so proud of him. I told him to make sure this is what he wants. He is now owned by the Air Force.

I hear you about the fingers. My fingers and wrist lose more than my stomach (my problem area).

I really thought my ring was too tight to fall off,(couldn't get it off very easy onboard) but, somehow loosened up and was gone when I returned to the beach.

When I called DCL, they said it usually falls on Tuesday night on the regular four night cruises, but they were'nt sure because the itinerary hasn't been set and this is a charter cruise. What number night has it fallen on in the past?

I believe it is after our first day at Castaway Cay. At least I'm pretty sure that has been when it was the last couple of years.



Good question Annette. Not sure of the answer. I know there was some discussion on the main board about people who have lost rings etc. on the island. I've never seen one. The downside is that I think the area you would find the most in will also be the most populated during the day and people might not appreciate someone walking around them with one.

Yes he is off to Maxwell for a month. He is thinking intel. He didn't score high enough to fly this time. He is going to try again. He is excited and we are glad. He wants to travel and I hope that happens. There are some great assignments and some not so good. You sound like you know a lot. Were you airforce? DH was 25 years!

Figmentnnmeo Nancy and I have eaten in Boma's twice for breakfast buffet and its great. You don't leave hungry. Everything was great.
Make sure you get a chance to cook you own giant waffle they are huge.
Well the sun is finally out her in the Pine tree State. We can't go walking on the beach like some people we know right Joan .
Thats great news about your son congrats. That will help the L family budget. Does Roger know the Sox will be on at 10:00PM tonight from LA they are playing the Dodgers.
Mary I see the weather in Chi town has improved send some to us.
I guess the way it stands now Mary we will all be eating at the Cape May Cafe Saturday night. Thats fine with Nanc and me. In that way Mary I hope we have a large group at the meet and I will make sure Joan and Roger don't get lost like last year .

Yes, I am still on active duty (stationed at NATO HQ in Belgium). In fact in one of my previous assignments I was an AF ROTC instructor. For intel, he'll want to make sure he has foreign language skills as that's one of the things they look for when doing the AFSC selections. He can always compete for a pilot slot later on, and if he gets his private pilot license on his own that will help his chances. And yes, he'll definitely travel. My former cadets are emailing me from all over the world!

Hello, everyone!! Here I go by Mohrt2, but in real life my name is Father Frank Hoffmann. My sister, Kathy, and I will be travelling on this cruise. I will be celebrating Mass either Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday morning for the two of us prior to our departure. I have noticed some of you mentioning attending Mass, so I wanted to throw out an invitation to join us. I am hoping this will make life a little less complicated for you all. Since I am going to be saying Mass anyway, why not join us? We can work out the details later as to when and where (we are staying at BWV, but I'd be willing to travel). Who knows? It might be the first time this has happened.
