He said it wasn't too bad. Some of the girls at school were "freaking out" about the storm, but everything was fine.

My body is so tired from this crazy bike riding I have been doing. UGH!!! Had to come home today and take a nap. But I got up and went riding again. I'm gonna beat it..........

Hi All - Wow, bad weather today. I am really sorry you had to go through that and glad all is well. We are under the tornado watch through the night here in metro Atlanta tonight.

I looked at the first page updates. I am not yet familiar with everyone's names, so I don't know if the last entry is supposed to be me and is a typo or is someone else. My DIS name is tikimimi (Tiki Room has a bird named Mimi which is my name hence the combination) and my husband is registered as tikimack.

Thank you all so much for the wise words and answers to my questions. I really appreciate your time and your willingness to share your experience. This is our first Disney cruise but not our first cruise. We "ruined" ourselves by skiing in CO for the first time this past Christmas (we will never enjoy skiing as much back East), so I am guessing we are going to "ruin" our ability to cruise on other lines once we do this! Just kidding - we are really looking forward to the Disney cruise experience. We are such Disney fanatics; it is only reasonable that we cruise with them as well.

My husband, Mack, thought he read somewhere that gratuities were included in the member cruise fare, but now we can't find that. Is that correct?

well, apparently this bike riding has got me in pretty bad shape.

This morning I awoke and left side does not move. not a good thing. arm and leg in great pain. guess I'll have to be making a phone call right away.

just when you think all is well, BAM - here it comes again !!!! just have to take care of it right away.

at least I have the weekend to rest.

Oh - I forgot to mention and share this with everyone.

Last evening I was wataching a "rewind" of American Idol from season 2, I think.

I have never, never laughed so much at one sitting in a long, long time.

It was so funny - we need something like that to make us laugh sometimes and just know what is going on in the outside world.

Gonna finish watching it this morning to start my day off good.

Thanks to everyone for thier thoughts and prayers. Look like there were no casualties in the area. I think a couple of people lost thier homes but no lives were lost.

We lost a single piece of siding on the gable on the front of the house. Now I have to find someone who is willing to come out for just one piece. My usually handyman will not go higher than 20 feet. This is about 30 feet.

Looking to book my airfare today. We have $600 credit vouchers from Delta for a bumped flight. I think it best to use them before the potential merger with United. I am concerned that they will not be honored afterwards.

Okay tickets booked. Cost me $23 Woo Hoo. We are arriving at 5PM on Friday and leaving at noon on Thursday.

Now all I have to pay for is Food (Friday and Saturday), Transpo to Port, Palos, Souveniers, Extra tips, and BINGO.

Welcome Mimi, I forgot this yesterday!

My friend made it here safe and sound, she said it was a little bumpy but otherwise a short flight! We chatted and talked about things, and then went to bed, I had to be at work this morning, so she is still asleep! Only 2 and half more hours and I'm outta hear, I bet its going to go really slow!

Happy weekend! I am very glad it is the weekend. While my sweet husband is outside doing yard work, I have run errands this morning and am now spending some quality time doing nothing - I need that - before I go grade papers.

Mary, thanks for the info about the tips. That is amazing. We've never had tips included on our RCCL or Carnival cruises. Is that something just for the member cruise or does Disney include tips in all their cruise fares up front?

I am really excited to find out what the cruis theme will be. I am also excited to hear more about the fish extenders and how they might be utilized. I plan to make one for Mack and me over the summer. I must focus on my daughter's high school graduation this spring and get through the rest of this school year before I can tackle anything else. I just finished grad school myself in November.

I'm glad everyone has made it through the bad weather without much in the way of damages. Have a super weekend everyone!
