I will be down the 1st week of May, grubbing off my parents at Vistana. When will you guys be down?

Haven't formulized any dates yet but we were thinking more later May. Need to check with our friends who moved down there and see what their schedule is like and we were also hoping to see who is in the line-up for the Flower Power concerts.

I toyed with the idea for a split second, but we really can't. We want to do the '09 Member Cruise and we have plans to go down to the parks in May to visit friends. That's all the vacation we can afford.

Considering it - but expensive in uncertain economic conditions - and I miss two weeks of football season which not only reduces my fun, but reduces the income - so - would love to - but hesitant to commit.

If we go to Vero Beach can we get a cold fruity beverage, sit on the beach and pretend it is Cataway Cay?

You are right Mack. But the way we did it we can wait until Aug 10th to make final payment or switch to points. We won't get the on board incentive but it's safer if we have to back out for some reason. Hopefully we won't.

I totally understand Mack - I'm sure this must be a tough decision. I didn't think you didn't want to go with us (did that make sense?). I just meant that it would be even more fun if you guys were there. Otherwise, we'll have to bring pictures of you and tape them to a beach chair so you can be with us!

That's not fair - I had to eat in our company cafeteria which is equipped with the Flav-O-Sucker - guaranteed to remove any trace of flavor (good or bad) from your food. Although they occasionally surprise us with the Vile-Injector, which transforms any food (pasta is most susceptible) into an inedible blob.

Anyone want to take a guess on when postcards mailed from CC will arrive? Any chance they will get here by Christmas?

I had a salad from McDonalds. How sad is that. Not only did I eat healthy I had to sat there and watch my very skinny friend eat a Big Mac and Fries. It is not fair.

The economy will come back and if it does not we can drown our sorrows at Castaway Cay.

Hi Leisha I'm soooo excited to be cruising with you & Tom again!

I'll ask them I do sort of earn my keep because I go out to The Villages to pick them up and drive them to Vistana, since they don't like to drive on the turnpike anymore. I also drive them home a week later. But I do manage to sneak in a Disney park or 2 (or 3 or 4) within the week

Hi Mimi - it does look like the AAA offers may be regional - my website shows this offer in PA, MD, NJ & DE. However, a they do sometimes offer reciprocal agreements, so I would call them up and ask them. I can't believe they wouldn't offer DCL cruises, since AAA is pretty tight with Disney.

Deposit & cancellation policy discussions sound promising
