Good Morning Mary and Joan. Same as you Mary all we have left to pack are cloths that we can lay neatly inside the suitcases.
We have finished off most of our food so I guess we will be eating out for Lunch and Supper. We plan to leave tomorrow about 11:00AM so we can stop in York and get a walk on the beach before we head to Boston.
Everybody have fun packing today. While I watch the Red Sox this afternoon Nancy will be at the salon doing the girls thing.

One week to DIS Meet Day!

OMG the chat was so much fun last night! I could hardly sleep, I was so revved up about the cruise!

For those that missed it, Mary & Mark are having their gas and hotel paid by Mark's boss, as a bonus! Isn't that amazing?

and packing today, since the the clothes I wear on the cruise ar not the ones I wear to work, unfortunately

Morning everyone. I had a great time in chat last night. Off to pick up Show-n-sell popcorn for boy scouts then to the church to ship off a bunch of scout to go rafting. Then home to put in my fall flowers. Then finally it is laundry and packing duties.

We get to the table and Mert and Gert say to me "Isn't your Father joining us dear" (they didn't get it even though he introduced himself the first night). I just said "No Dad is busy tonight".

Cute story Mary. Here's a couple:

Frank & I travel a lot together and we have done a number of cruises on the Delta Queen boats. Frank always offers to say Mass on Sunday and they always provide a place and include it in their version of the Navigator.

1) One cruise, on the Mississippi Queen, we met a lot of crazy people and had a fabulous time. But Mass wasn't until the end of the cruise, so no one knew that Frank was a priest until then and some people wanted to know 'who is that WOMAN staying in his room!

2) Frank said Mass in the Paddlewheel Lounge of the Mississippi Queen. The Paddlewheel Lounge is the 2 deck high bar in the stern of the boat - it has a full length window so you can see the paddlewheel and the river beyond. Just as Frank started Mass there was a terrific thunderstorm, so we could all see bolts of lightening behind him, through the window. It's also the only time I went to Mass sitting on a bar stool!

Looks like I missed a fun chat too! Hate that I missed it but had to take Ahja's hair out so it can be redone. Kinky twists take just as long to take out as they do to put in. Sheesh! Now that it's 3:20am I'm calling it a night.

Holy moly! 3:20 AM! How do you pronounce Ahja's name?

Let's see - I just got on and read what was posted today! Kathy - my husband once sat on a barstool in a bar to participate in a retreat with the deacons of a Baptist church!!! Hello!

Kathy and I have new names - Trixie and Pixie. Mack thinks that is funny! He thoroughly enjoyed the CC pictures in the snow, Mary. Thank you!
