The Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge area is located on the 6th floor of the Lodge. As you exit the elevator, a large, open area serves as the Concierge Lounge, and overlooks the lobby. Of all the Concierge Lounges we've seen, this one probably has the best view of them all.

We stayed once in the Concierge area of the Polynesian. Thier lounge looks out on the lagoon and the castle via a two story tall wall of windows. We sat in there one evening eating fruit that had been constructed into little animal shapes, drinking cokes, and watching the fireworks over the castle. We then had front row seats to the electric water parade. Very nice.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Well I just checked and Craig and I are still not linked to anyone for dinner. Maybe Mickey and Minnie will sit with us!:rotfl:

I think Frank & I were linked to you and the Goslings originally. I just checked again and we are now linked to the Goslings and another family named Boyle, who are not DISers. I think Joanne is still working on this.

I was just checking the driving directions between the airport and ship port :drive: and see that you should use FL-528 - pretty much a direct shot. However, I see that this is a toll road. Is this part of the road really a toll road? Anyone know how much it is? Just wondering. Not that the extra couple of dollars are a make or break thing, it just helps to have the right change handy to speed things along.

528, also known as the Beachline (used to be the Bee Line) is definitely a tool road! I think most of the tolls are $.75 but I can't remember how many there are between the airport and the port. At least 2 I think.

Thanks. I'll make sure to have quarters at the ready.

Actually, looks like there may only be 1 toll for $1.25.
